Go to the Disneyland website and from there it gives you dining options. You can call and make a reservation for Ariel's Grotto or for Wine Country Trattoria. It will also give you a link to purchase a Picnic Dinner online, which gives you reserved seating for World of Color as well. :) - lovesyou21

Morning. You can grab fastpasts in DCA or if you want to do the dining and preferred viewing by calling Disney Dining - 1 (714) 781-3463. We're doing this for tomorrow night. - fryguy

To add, the view from either is great I think, with one of the restaurants you get better, "preferred" seating, and with the picnic you get the section behind that. In the preferred section you can get wet, just FYI. The food in the picnic isn't that spectacular in my opinion but I've heard otherwise. The food at Ariel's Grotto was great. I haven't tried Wine Country Trattoria. - lovesyou21

There is no seating. For the WOC picnic, please keep in mind, the food is cold food, and has to be eaten within the hour. If you go there, and want to order it, you have to take it with you at time of purchase. You get a ticket for the reserved viewing area as well. Another one of the great options, and not as expensive as the Trattoria or Ariel's. - CM_AndiMc

We are thinking about doing ariels grotto. So we just call to make reservations and then we automatically have a place to watch? Or can you see the show from your table? - boodle

Ariels grotto was our favorite dinner! The appatizers were all u can eat and soo yummy! You dont eat from your table you make your reservation for any time you want and then you get your tickets for woc and get the front section in the viewing area - likethewindbullseye

You eat dinner then they give you the world of color fastpasses once you pay. So no, you can't sit and watch the show. :) - lovesyou21

I really liked the dinner at Ariel's Grotto - and I think it's definitely worth it for the great view of the show afterwards! Whatever you decide to do, enjoy! - BreadAndButterfly

If you do make reservations at Ariel's make sure you tell them it's for WOC and not for the princess breakfast/lunch. We have had several guests confuse the two - CM_AndiMc

If you watch World Of Color, you want to sit further back. That way you get a better view of the whole thing, not just a certain section. I've done both and I choose to sit in the middle to back row. Yellow seating is perfect!! Just my 2 cents :) I hope you enjoy (or did enjoy) it :) - MinnieCupcake
