Lol, no worries pintsize! And, yeah, I have had similar experiences. Give yout body some time to adjust. There are all kinds of factors that can hinder weight loss. The experts say that it boils down to "calories in vs. Calories expended," but I think each person's body chemistry is more complex than that. It could take awhile until your body "settles in" to your healthy lifestyle. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Thanks @spoon I know its only been two weeks but I really hoped id see some kind of something you know? I almost feels as though its for nothing even though I know its not. Im impatient I guess and I do have more energy now but same size and weight! - pintsize

If you're trying to just do weight loss and loose fat I would recommend cardio. If cardio isn't your "thing," a less intense workout with more resistance is better. For example, instead of running on the treadmill, try doing a steady speed (like 3.2) at a high incline. You shed calories faster and that workout is made for fat loss :D - tish

Thanks tish! Unfortunately I got some bad news from the doctor yesterday which explains why I have had such a hard time losing weight and also why we are having such a hard time getting pregnant ... went from happy to borderline depressed within minutes. - pintsize

Its called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (spelling?) They put me on Chlomid and progesterone. But they still aren't sure how to treat the weight issue because they still don't know what causes it. Pretty upset still. - pintsize

@ pint - sorry to hear about everything you are going through, but thank you for being brave enough to share your story. 15 years ago when I was getting married I decided I wanted to lose weight to look good in my wedding dress. For 10 months before the wedding I went to the gym for 30-60 minutes 5 nights a week and while I didn't go on a special diet I did eat healthier and smaller portions. I was shocked to find I only lost a total of 1/2 an inch in all that time. The doctor said it was the birth control. Hang in there and things will turn around for you. It has taken 15 years but I've now lost just over 20 pounds and going. Best of luck to you! - Duchess73
