I feel very sad today. Today marks one year ago that my dad had a seizure and we found out his cancer had returned. A few days ago we learned that his treatment is no longer working and we are almost out of options. This place is all I have in my life that takes things like this off my mind, even if it's only for a little bit. I appreciate all of you here for helping to bring me a little bit of the magic that is the Disneyland Resort back to my life when I can't be there. It holds a special memory for me; on my last trip there, it was just me and my parents for the first time ever, and it was the best trip I ever had. The time I got to spend with them in such a wonderful place was precious. My next trip is in October and it doesn't look like my dad will make it this time, but Disneyland Resort will forever be the special place that I got to have my parents all to myself. So, thank you, to everyone here, for helping me bring that special place home to me.

So sorry. My dad has been gone 12 yrs this month. But I have so many wonderful memories of our DL trips together. Everytime I am at the park, I think of him and smile as I think of how special those trips were to all of us. - Gia

It has been 12 years for my on August 13th when my mother passed away of lung. Then my father passed away 8 months later. I can understand your pain. No one can every take away your memories. Take care and remember that you have many friends here. - sr citizen space ranger
