Hi! I live in N.CA, but usually go to Dland in the fall.It will be hot so bring clothes that will let you "breath".We will be there around the same time as you!Sept 27-Oct 3rd. - Aussysmom

Last year I went on halloween and stayed 5 days and it was sooooo hot. Like upper 90's hot. I don't know how the beginning of October is. I'll be there the 3rd - 7th this year but I'm sure it's pretty hot. - MrsLightyear

This time of year you are talking about in California can be unpredictable. Weather can be good and can also turn dismal in a hurry. I'd be prepared. Rain is going to be something to consider. Bring (or buy) ponchos and/or umbrellas. Bring shoes you can walk comfortably in even when wet. Temps range from the 60's to mid 70's during the day, but you will notice in the park that at sunset, the temps drop 10-15 degrees. Have something warm to put on, especially for the kids. Nothing is more miserable than kids that are not properly dressed for the night weather that time of year in Disneyland. - DopeyMe123

I think you save about $20-30 bucks if you buy them online. Not only that, you skip the ticket booth lines and when you get there you can just go! - DisneyBride°O°

Me an my sister wear long sleeves with a shirt ontop in the fall so if it's to hot we can just take the long sleeve off or if it's to cold we can put it on, layering is good at Disney haha - NessaGC

It's going to be hot those days. Not until mid October when it starts to get fresh. Maybe at night it may be fresh so a light sweater - mozbaby

best advice is layers. it will still be warm during the day but will get cool in the evenings. i would wear shorts or capris with a t or tank and then bring a long sleeve and a sweater in my bag. and of course comfy shoes - Pixarprincess

I'd say pack cheap ponchos as well, so that if it rains you aren't stuck paying $7 for an official DL one. (not that that's happened to my family... Not even twice.) :) - BaronessVonShush

Living in LA all my life, september and October can still be warm, very warm at times. Like around 80s-high 90s on certain days but it gets cool at night. Good 10-15 degree difference. So most fall nights range in mid 60s-low 70s. Last year around Halloween it was very cool and colder but it usually is a warm day here in October. It's our fire season here. - MarshaMouse
