My man swore in and left for the navy today. I needed some cheering up so I got some disney books and goodys and of course stationary stuff including awesome stamps for lots of letter writing. :)
Haha I'm going to sound like a creeper but I think we have the same bed spread lol - stitch86

Awe, hang in their. I'm sure it isn't easy. I've been with my hubby almost 12 years (8 married) and he's Navy Reserve and its hard on me when he has to leave for a week or 2... how long will he be gone, is he doing his basic training? - CM_Tamstirr

Hubby and I were in the army, and I have 3 kids in the navy. Might I recommend the Navy for Moms website. Wives and girlfriends are on it too. You should be able to find out what ship (bldg) he is assigned to from the recruiter in a couple of days (or wait for his note in the mail), to start letters. You will get a quick phone call when he arrives at Chicago, or somebody should. If he didn't take a phone card, he will need one. They earn calls throughout bootcamp. Like I said, I've done this 3 times, you can text me if you like. Leave an email since I don't have the ranking to text back. It will be over before you know it. Try and go to the graduation if able. We did all 3, fabulous. - Sugarbuzz

I went through the same thing also 2 years ago. Write him letters EVERYDAY! It'll help him sooo much! When he graduates bootcamp, make sure you go, it's an amazing experience! Feel free to text me too, I can give you my email:) Keep your head up, time will go by fast! - JessM4

Wow thank you so much for your support everyone! I am writing a letter every single day :) I know it will mean alot to him! Im also going to his graduation. Hes a corpman and will be going to san antonio, Texas next. I got a call from him when he got to Chicago and luckily his mom is going to tell me his address and graduation date when she finds out within 72 hrs. I know itll be a rough road but so worth it for us in the end! I will definatly be checking out the website. Thanks again! :) - Dizhearthm
