Is it true that if u renew your pass at Disneyland and your pass is blocked out that day Disneyland will let u in for free? Or do u have to pay the block out fee?

I believe they will let you in for renewals. I upgraded my pass twice on days I was blocked out, and they let me in the park - TinkerBrat 10.0 #6776 7:17PM

when i first got my pass, they gave me a block out day free ticket. not sure if they do it for renewals also. - chris. 2507.3 #24 7:17PM

If you buy your pass on a day it is blacked out, you do not have to pay the black out exception fee. - Mrsblue 692.4 #146 7:18PM
