Just finished watching The Fox and the Hound. I must admit that I haven't seen it in years and it brought back so many happy (albeit emotional) memories of my sister-in-law who passed away two years ago. She used to love Big Momma and would sing along to all her songs. Its moments like these that I stop and appreciate her taking the time to introduce me to all things Disney. She loved Disney and is the reason I share that same love for Disney today. . Who introduced you all to Disney or were your main influences?
Thats so cool, I loved that movie as a kid and have not seen it forever....My Grandparents and mother really got me into disney, I had an AP at age 5 the first year they had come out and had one every year until I worked there in high school - Dave

My SIL who was a cast member in her early 20s who then rubbed off on my parents who first convinced my hubby and I that a Disney trip was doable.
It's a long process, but i'm glad it happened. :) - Tammery

thx for sharing your story. My mum was my influence. She'd grown up with the original Mickey Mouse Club here in Australia and had seen footage of Disneyland and dreamed of going all her life. Then my dad was severely injured in a workplace accident before I was born in a huge suit that went to our Supreme Court and was awarded damages just after my 5th birthday - and Mum's Disneyland dream finally came true. Our little family had our first of many trips and are now passing down the Disney love to Mum's grandkids. - BLG

Every Sunday night my parents would watch The Wonderful World of Disney with my brother and I. I agree with you, Disney memories run deep in our lives. - Mr. Incredible

That is sweet :) I was definitely raised to be a Disney girl but Mickey Mouse reminds me of my brother, who passed away 3 years ago. When he was too young to have a tattoo he snuck and got one of Mickey doing his Mickey pose, but with an inappropriate hand sign. It was a total scandal at our house! He had it covered a few years before he passed but that Mickey pose still reminds me of him. - Smackerel
