Hi mouse wait family , a (sadly) non Disneyland post, but I thought that you guys might have some job interview tips? I have an interview really soon. Much appreciated! :)

Go in there with confidence it's all about selling yourself highlight all the great qualities about your self such as" im a very hard working employee I adapt well with my surroundings and learn quickly" well I hope that helps good luck - sumer18

Dress and groom neat, clean and approporate for the position you are applying for. Have your act together and fill in applications/forms neatly and completly. If you know or think they want anything (DL, SS card, references, resume, etc) take it with you. Remember that you are 'on stage' as soon as you arrive, be polite to everyone (you never know if the security guard or receptionist is the bosses relative). Be polite, smile, have a great attitude. Know about the company and the position so you can tell the interviewer how you will be a great employee and an asset to the company. - mike714

Prepare ahead. Research the company. Go on-line and read a lot of interview questions and answers. Be prepared to give your strengths and weaknesses (they always ask those). Emphasize that you are a team player. Dress very nicely..when I was conducting interviews, it always amazed me how many people came in poorly dressed. Do not bring up salary. They will bring it up only when they are prepared to offer the job to you. Good luck! - Bo22

I always used to tell my students to look at the person addressing you, shake the person's hand and thank them for giving you the opportunity to interview. Good luck! - Diznimom

And don't forget that thank you letter immediately after the interview. Go home, sit down, and mail it the same day. Keeps you fresh in their mind and you will have the edge on the majority who don't send that letter. - Bo22

If you want the job, tell the interviewer before you leave. That and a prompt thank you note always brought a resume to the top of my pile. And no negativity about prior jobs/bosses. Being diplomatic is a great asset at interviews and on the job. - PrincessDuckie

Excuse me, GoldenEilonwy.. No skirts? You usually look better in a skirt and more professional (to some people anyways) and sometimes make you look younger. Wearing a skirt will make you stand out - splashie

If you're going to wear a skirt make sure it is not shorter than knee length. Dress professionally. Have some questions ready to ask. Don't take anyone with you to the interview or leave them in the car. Bring a resume if you have one. - KissDclown
