Whats your biggest pet peeve in the parks? Im gonna have to go with when the people behind you in line dont give you your personal space..kids i understand but adults...really? my poor butt has been violated to many times already today! ::Sigh::

When families ambush my cotton candy and drink carts, it's hard to keep track of ten people with products all in their hands - agarcia38CM  6.0 #14672 2:08PM
I have been trying to teach my boys the meaning of "Personal Space" since they were 5. I don't like when adults or kids get all up in my grill... - OutNumberedMom  813.1 #206 2:09PM

Maybe you had something on it and they were trying to help : P - chris.  2510.9 #48 2:14PM
Personal space. I always take my cinchsack off my back in line. Other people (usually other adults) keep their larger backpacks on & have no regard for the fact they continually hit someone with it! - ythdudette  1297.4 #114 2:16PM

Being from the bay area we are like the melting pot of the world. It's very noticeable who crowds in on other people. Couple yrs ago I learned that certain places in the world do not use the concept of a line. People crowd around and are helped on a who's the quickest notion. That may explain why some don't line up properly. For the rest well maybe they just be all in a hurry to get in as much fun as possible! lol - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  697.3 #248 2:25PM

People who spread their group all across the path so no one can pass without going into the opposite traffic - cesium55  531.6 #361 3:05PM
People who think a wheelchair coming means try to get in front of the wheelchair and almost get ran over. This is the same with strollers. I find my self often stopping traffic for people in wheelchairs because i see this all the time. - MeAndMy3Girls  183.3 #2125 3:05PM

Parents who try to force their scared, crying kids onto rides. I once watched a CM refuse to board a child on Indy because he was resisting so much. He cried through the entire line and said he was too scared. The mom refused to listen, but was finally told to take the child to the exit. There are some things in life your children have to do. Going on a ride is not one of them! - bunnymama  349.5 #621 3:15PM
Lack of shady spots while waiting in line. Mostly a DCA thing. - kkbw1117  183.5 #2122 3:16PM

Oh and I dislike people who are rude to CMs! - Hop_Low  268.5 #1105 3:18PM
I hate it when people get up on me. Get off me! Kids don't bother me as much but if I can raise my kids to not get in people's personal space then other parents should or at least tell their kids to get off my butt. - eagles5150  21.2 #6540 3:19PM
Then there's the people who zig and zag around the big group going into the opposite lane of traffic, all the while leaving their party behind. Oh wait that's my mom  - cesium55  531.6 #361 3:21PM
@cdeley haha lmao! I seriously can't stop laughing! And @jacs1234 I like your comment :) - NeverlandTink  423.1 #477 3:31PM
I dislike people who feel they are so special, they don' t need to wait for things like everyone else. Oh and I dislike it when people hate on strollers. We were all in a stroller once, be kind. @cdeley - I feel you on the stranger fart. - tballzz  555.5 #337 3:36PM
Personal space in line is a big one but hate when people just stop in the middle of the walkway - not for a ride or character but just because they want to. Move to the side - like driving on the road. - WannaBeAtDisneyland  247.3 #1307 3:39PM
I like to put on my one man show I like to call "Someone's Touching Me!"....So I start off by saying..."Did you just hear that? Someone just popped my personal space bubble!" But I say it real loud like I'm on stage! Then if they bump me again I almost yell, "SOMEONE'S TOUCHING ME!" - WaltSentMe  328.3 #696 3:39PM
I hate the people that stop short right in front of me for no obvious reason and I have no choice but to hit them with the stroller because I just can't stop that fast and then they glare at me like it was MY fault. I also hate the people that are in such a hurry that they push my stroller into someone else to get by me in a crowd, again making me hit a person and it's not my fault yet I'm the one getting the stink eye. I can steer my stroller and never hit someone unless something like that happens. I always apologize, I'm not trying to run anyone down, not my intent by any means. - Autoalice  160.9 #2464 3:40PM
Mine is rude people!!! @waltsentme that's hilarious! - luvmygreenarmyman  337.1 #660 3:55PM
CA law, if you rear-end someone, you're at fault for following too closely :-D j/k autoalice. Unfortunately, the few who like to use their strollers as battering rams give everyone else a bad name. I'd have to agree with the person who said a lack of respect. Whether it be littering, cutting in line, etc., just general lack of respect to the park and fellow park-goers is my biggest peeve. - BrettX209  245.4 #1333 4:02PM
I have several, but one one that stands out that has not been mentioned yet is 1 person in front of you and a large amount of their party or groups jumps into line with that person. - lindyanne  187.4 #2071 4:12PM
People letting there kids swing on the chains while standing in line. I know the lines can be long and boring but come on now. - Pinup Princess  169.7 #2324 4:13PM
These are all great! Lol but I do want to say I keep my backpack on in line BECAUSE it keeps people off me. It at least gives me a little more space between myself and the next ______ behind me.... - FrankyHLYWD  221.1 #34 4:17PM
But you may be one of the few that checks your "clearance." I got knocked around so much my last trip! - ythdudette  1297.4 #114 4:20PM

Wow! You all have covered all of mine! - champers  25.1 #6009 4:26PM
My biggest pet peeve is reading all these complaints. I love Disneyland as much as u do but I'm 1200 miles away so I don't have the luxury of going once a week like some of you do.sounds like you're beginning to take what u have for granted. I say be thankful for what u have and if you don't have anything nice to say...Shut your mouth. Sorry had to vent on this one. - OB1JacoB  104.7 #3387 4:28PM
I have 2. 1, when people stop in a middle of a walkway and block everyone. And 2, when ur waiting for a parade, fireworks, fantasmic or any show and last minute someone or people sneake their way infront of u and block ur view. I cant stand when people do that. Just because u see a small space between people doesn't mean u can stand there. Next time get there early to get a good spot. - MrYoda  45.0 #4689 4:29PM
@OBI -I think all of these complaints would apply to anywhere anyone would go with crowds... Not just a Disney thing.... - MicheyMouse  343.3 #641 4:30PM
Blocking the walk ways, I hate it - kameleongt  180.5 #2161 4:46PM
So true MicheyMouse. I had a lot of these complaints when we went to the San Diego Comic Book Convention (like my stroller one. Only people were worse there about pushing my family and our stroller out of their way and into others, it was even worse because their pushing could have pushed us into some very expensive things!) LOL @BrettX209 I agree, I can't stand the ones that use their stroller as a battering ram. It's always my favorite when they position themselves to make it look like a different stroller hit the person. Most of us are nice ;) - Autoalice  160.9 #2464 4:47PM
people walking with their head down looking at their phones and not payin attention and then standing in the middle of the parade route and blocking everyone, yelling mousewait, yelling taaaakaa, singing Im a banana in public, using their cell phones on HM and the place lights up like a christmas tree, standing on the porch on on Main Street until 1am, planking, throwing rolls at boats on POTC, making reservations for 15 for the lilly belle, yelling MouseWait - Dave  12727.2 #2 4:57PM

I used to have a Peeve for a pet. I named him PP for short. - Tom  8807.8 #4 5:10PM
Fake handicaps. Say they are to get in line first. Or using there grandparents to do the same thing. @Dave sounds like you have done that before. - Chumash28  1081.1 #152 5:14PM
I have a few. Standing too close in line. People who stop right infront of you and block the way. And people who can't throw away their trash. So weak. - MagicalCaprice  480.7 #404 5:17PM
Litter. From inside the park, to Downtown Disney, all the way to the parking lots. Really, really bugs me. - proudcanuck  478.6 #408 5:21PM
I read it the same way mrsstrawberryguy. I thought she must have 2 year old quadruplets or something. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney  472.6 #413 5:30PM
I have two pet peeves, people who stop walking and block the walkways and the personal space issues. My 17 yr. old has always had issues with people invading her space to the point where it's hard for her to handle the parks in the summer. Some people r just so dang rude! - Mommadisneyfan  40.1 #4910 5:30PM
People who put their children on leashes like they are some type of wild animal, makes my head boil. - theorys  129.4 #2947 5:34PM
Hi All! Oh! Boy are you all right!!! One time I was in line with the Hubby at the mint julip window and I just turned around and some mex.lady was right in my face with her tanked topped bozooms!! Not something I wanted to see at "D"land!!! Please! People step Back!!! - TiggerGal  19.7 #6799 5:35PM
Litter especially bothers me, but there's a certain type of dislike I have for people who change their baby's diapers on benches or planters and proceed to leave the dirty diaper on the ground, the bench, or anywhere else that isn't the trash can. Wevew noticed this a lot in the parking lot lately, but a few trips ago we saw some family leave their dirty diaper while waiting for the tram. Ugh! And people, when in like for anything, I don't need to feel/smell your stanky breath on the back of my neck. Just because you're not on top of me in line doesn't mean you wont get to go on the ride. Step off. Also, deodorant is a necessity anywhere around other people, especially at the parks. :P - flukefan  270.5 #1082 5:38PM
@ob1 I live 1200 so trust me I'm not taking dl for granted. I haven't been in four years! I just feel like people don't care and it would bother me Anywhere if someone was in my bubble and touching my butt... - NeverlandTink  423.1 #477 5:59PM

People who cut you in line - ilovepeterpan  127.7 #2968 6:06PM
I don't like people cutting. It makes me a bit angry inside and o don't like being angry. Especially at Disneyland. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney  472.6 #413 6:07PM
We were in line to see Donald today and this lady and her two kids are standing near my family as we are getting him to sign our books. I told her, the back of the line is over there. She said, I know, they told me. Yet her kids were STILL standing by mine while Donald was signing their books. She didn't tell her kids to step back or anything. After we were done I watched Donald and he refused to sign their books and pointed to the back of the line. The nerve of some people!! - CaliCanuck  534.1 #359 6:07PM

When people cut in line cause someone is holding their spot. - Nubis  4.3 #20546 6:14PM
People who throw gum any and everywhere. Getting hit in the ankle in a stroller (that's why I avoid Fantasyland). Parents who let their toddlers lick the hand rails and/or wander all over the line. - rainbowlite  13.5 #8329 6:16PM
Booty blasters, especially on a hot day in the Indy lines tunnels. - miguelg916  47.7 #4590 6:17PM
@ythdudette I feel you...Btm line some people are just plain rude.....I saw a guy yelling at the Waiter CM because he felt they were taking too long with his families order...I just turned and gave him the evil eye  - FrankyHLYWD  221.1 #34 6:22PM
1)Strollers that get used as weapons. 2)People that stop directly in front of you without any consideration. 3)Kids that bounce and climb all over everything while in line and the parents that do nothing to stop them... - garrlusdland  67.6 #4047 6:32PM
@FrankyHLYD... LAME! I have always loved the CMs, but even more so after transitioning from ministry to Guest Services for an arena! I feel their pain in a whole new level! - ythdudette  1297.4 #114 7:06PM
People stopping right in the middle of the foot traffic or congregating in front of a ride entrance NOT ready with their fast pass or they are just in discussion trying to decide if they want to ride the ride or not. Oui vey! - nittywitty  195.5 #1968 7:09PM
People stopping in the middle of an aisle with a stroller or otherwise. People waiting for their Fast Pass return time to be valid in front of the attraction...I've seen this numerous times in front of the Splash Mountain Fast Pass return entrance. The FP return line was way out past the bridge. We walked to the FP entrance by the Splash CM and asked if this line was for FP return. The CM didn't seem to get that the group of people standing at the FP return entrance were waiting for their FPs to become valid. Another CM dumping the trash yelled out to not wait there if their FPs were not valid. The offending group moved & the whole line started moving and the Splash CM let us directly inside in front of the line after the people moved. - SergZak  3125.8 #39 7:21PM
@Starr, really? Is that green jelly on your cheeks? :p. - Zapablast05  120.8 #3096 7:35PM
I loved reading all these! They made me laugh. Thanks everyone:) and I must agree I can't stand when people stop randomly in front of you and you can't get around them. - NeverlandTink  423.1 #477 9:54PM
Hi All! Here's one for the road!! Mom's who bring there 10 year old or older boy to the Women's bathroom! I get so embarrassed it's not something I want to see a older boy peeking in the stall when I'm sitting there doing my bizness! Not! Nice! Come on lady's have your older wait outside for you Please!!! - TiggerGal  19.7 #6799 9:56PM
Tiggergal, could it be possible that the son might have a handicap which is why he needed to be near his mom? I remember a similar situation one time a Knotts. I just smiled and said hello to the boy as I made my way out of the stall to wash my hands. - DuffysJuju  627.8 #291 10:03PM
People who smell like butt  - zephergirlnat  85.4 #3690 10:06PM
I will bring my 8 yr old in the woman's bathroom if I'm forced to choose between letting him stand outside unattended or changing a diaper. It's not safe to leave little kids on their own, and believe me when i say he'd be more embarrassed than you would be - Missshelly  698.3 #246 10:10PM
The way women leave the restrooms! Totally a mess, paper and personal hygiene left all over the place for someone else to clean up (rude), a total disregard for manners! One should always leave a place looking better than how they found it! - zerogirl  124.1 #3026 10:22PM
People who don't know how to walk! If you stop in front of my stroll I will hit you, not because I suck but because you do. I will always bring my kid in the bathroom with me and not leave them outside! Who would so that? Sometimes kids need to be on those backpack leashes. My lil one got restless in the stroller so leash it was. I'd rather see kids with leashes then toddlers running all over or under my feet. My biggest PP is by far people bumping into my 5 year old and not saying excuse me. Makes me furious. DL is for the kids! - LilKsMomma  87.0 #3667 10:31PM
@lilksmomma I totally agree...with everything in your comment! - sumer18  25.0 #6020 10:34PM
Oh I agree on the bathroom comments. Though my biggest one is when I have been I front of the castle for two hours waiting for a good spot and 10 min before a family squeezes in and invades my personal space! - onceuponatime  172.6 #2279 10:37PM
Slow walkers, although I know they wanna soak it in but I'm aiming for star tours FP so please let me through lol - MarshaMouse  4214.4 #26 10:40PM
Most of these comments include my pet peeves, but I have to say my number 1 pet peeve in the parks is the rudeness and lack of consideration some people have while watching shows. I can understand kids On laps, shoulders, and being held. What I can't handle is the moving around, hats on heads, talking loudly, etc. During the show. Its just common courtesy, BE AWARE OF THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU! it's simple! Sorry I just got back from the parks and this was a big issue we had! End rant, now.  - PrincessLunn  14.2 #8098 10:44PM
When people win RAKs and complain about it afterwards. - RoyalBlack  223.1 #1609 10:55PM
Most parts of the world don't have "personal space" so if the offenders are foreigners that is why they are way too close for comfort... My biggest pet peeve is the person/family who comes in during or just before the show or parade and stands right in front of me while I am holding my toddler so he can no longer see. Really? How is that okay? - jackie9448  66.4 #4073 2:59AM
I am proud of my skills as a huge double stroller pusher. I am respectful and do not use my stroller as a weapon cause I don't want my girls to get hurt. Anyways 1 is people who don't care that I am pushing a double stroller and cut me off, cross or stop right in front of me. 2, People that have umbrella strollers and still get on the tram in the line for the double stroller that can't fit in a regular spot even if it's folded up cause they dont feel like folding up their little stroller. Sorry I am done now. - Sandcar13  1391.0 #109 3:21AM
Using their camera flash on dark rides such as POTC or HM. Yuck! - sarahpie  275.3 #1023 3:55AM
When the kids are doing something wrong or annoying and the parents don't tell them something.....or ignore there kids - sweetnerdiheartmickey  252.2 #1250 3:59AM
I 100% agree with @bunnymama. Why force your kids on a ride when they are kicking and screaming? U want them to have wonderful memories of DL, not bad ones! - aussiekate  165.8 #2395 4:02AM
Body odor - stitchter  10.2 #9890 4:07AM
A lot of these are funny. But i have to say of this I can agree, others not really, and the rest it depends. For example cutting in line if someone straight out cuts in line that is wrong, when someone is waiting in line for less then 2/3 people I understand because people need to us the restroom or something. My pet peeve is when someone is rude/mean to someone else for no reason. - MickeysPrincess  151.5 #2595 5:08AM
Strollers on the escalators and people faking an illness/handicap to jump the line. (I have a coworker who does this, he calls it the "wheelchair trick.") I also agree with no boys over 10 years old in the ladies room. One today was running in and out of the bathroom, his mother paying him no mind. I was extremely uncomfortable. Lastly, parents/kids yelling in the bathroom. I understand that parents are trying to keep tabs on their kids but in most cases a normal speaking voice would suffice to confirm whereabouts. - Sugarbaker  273.5 #1049 5:09AM
My 7 yr old son hates that I make him go in the ladies bathroom but he isn't staying outside. What I do though , out of respect for others, I have him wait in a stale until I am done. It takes a toilet away.... But still gives ladies their privacy. My PP, flash photos in POTC, A group taking the whole walkway so no one can get by and teens scaring little ones in HM... (of course I did it all the time when I was a teen but now I get it!) - disneykdn  108.9 #3324 6:33AM
I hate when you're on a ride and other people in the boat are taking way too loud and ruining it for everyone else. It's really annoying. - RumRunner  107.5 #3351 6:35AM
Personal space and people who talk and take pics on dark rides. - angryduck  109.0 #3322 6:36AM
People that post inaccurate wait times! - mwonandroid  348.8 #623 6:46AM
People with strollers that swerve or hit the people's ankles/heels when you're in front or beside them. They think they have the right of way :/. Another one is when I try to get across from one location to another and there's a wall of people out of nowhere that don't bother to let you slip by. - Zapablast05  120.8 #3096 8:51PM
I agree with @TiggerGal, if the boy is 10+ he can prolly wait by himself, but younger i can totally understand bringing in the batroom. And let's say Dad is in line, then mum, junior, and princess come join him, doesnt bother me too much. Whats bad is if Dads in line, then comes mum, junior, princess, uncle, auntie, granny, cousin, friend, etc. etc. Another one: know ur kid's height beforehand, dont clog the entrance for a year and a half to measure ur kid. Or maybe Disney could move the height measurer off to the side a bit, not so much you need an extra CM to man it, but so those of us who are tall enough can get in line without seeing if 30" junior is tall enough for splash. Oh, and if the CM says junior is too short, DONT ARGUE! drives me mad! - SplashMountainFTW  5.3 #16270 9:13PM
@splash omg this happened to me in line today for tsmm! There were 2 people waiting and before we went inside litterally 10 people joined then 5 people joined another group a few people ahead..iwas like really??? Ugh. I can handle 1 or 2 people but a whole group is a little rude - NeverlandTink  423.1 #477 9:20PM
We had a group of 4 13yr old girls being nasty in TOT line. Shoving each other into myself and others, mocking anyone who asked them to stop, and worst of all, announcing to everyone in line what they do to their boyfriends when parents are gone. My sister, being the teacher she is stayed calm and followed them off the ride and walked straight up to one of their Moms or grandma's that was waiting outside and let her know everything that took place inside. You have never seen kids move so fast! - misskitty  19.3 #6871 9:51PM
When two people cut in line in front of you to be with the rest of their group....then 20 more follow them. I'm sorry, but that's just plain rude. Actually happened to us the other day. When ee had the opportunity, my hubby opened up the line marker and we cut the whole entire family of like 25 ppl! It was classic because what could they say? Lol - BayPrincess  5.7 #15245 10:21PM
Personal space & people that cut in line. - stargoddess120  527.4 #365 11:46PM
Ohh man have I got a story. My friends and I went to redwood creek and my bro wanted to go on the tire swings. Some lady in front of us with her son said we were cutting!! We weren't.. She said she didn't want to waste her time for people cutting and the son said yeah their gay and flicked us off!! - Roxas  131.5 #2914 11:51PM
Slow walkers in a long row, blocking so you can't go around them. - CadaverousPallor  268.4 #1106 11:52PM
I'm so glad I'm not alone on these issues :) we use a double stroller, (but my hubby drives a 40 foot big rig everyday so he man's that and steers just fine) but people jump out to get in front of u its hard to not hit them. I do agree with using "leashes" with little ones. I mean liiiiittle tumblers. My daughter is one and wants to walk but refuses to hold a hand. This gives them a bit of independence and mom peace of mind. To each their own I guess :) I'm just glad to see its not just us that deals with these peeves. - MouseWife86  165.8 #2393 12:28AM
I agree w/ sooo many of these comments! I really dislike teens who are being rude/ obscene. I mean come on, this is a family place. I don't have kids yet, but worked in pediatrics for 4 yrs & you have to have a filter. Ppl w/ strollers who are just rude & completely unaware of their surroundings (ie: stopping in the middle of the walk ways (especially Adventure Land). Or being cut off by strollers or hit in the ankles w/ a stroller- those puppies hurt! I totally understand & respect the need of a stroller (as one day I will be there w/ one), I just wish ppl (non MWer's of course ;D) would be as respectful & aware. :D - belle421  15.2 #7804 1:15AM
LOL @xkevox with the Lakerz :P I also agree with everyone too like personal space, but my biggest peeve is when I go on a ride by myself and people look @ me like im why im I going on this my myself oh and when people hit you with there strollers on accdent and dont say sorry I mean thatz just rude >:( - AmandaLovezPrinceEric18  18.3 #7053 1:43AM
@misskitty- Yay for your sister! That's my pet peeve too and it's hard for me not to correct unattended (or poorly attended) children/teens. I teach Special Education @ an elementary school, so I do it all day! I am usually able to catch myself, but if they are being offensive and there are younger kids around...it's on. - Smackerel  234.0 #1476 5:27AM
I absolutely hate when teens scream after boarding an attraction scaring tiny tots. I also dislike when I work fireworks and people say oh my family is over there they just sent me a text...I always say have them come over here and I'll let you in, then they usually walk away. Ok and one more, handicap guests who complain the wait in the alternative line is sooo long of a wait, I purposely make impatient, rude families wait to board... - PrincessTianaCM  221.0 #1644 5:52AM
Smokers outside the smoking areas. Personal hygenie. Stay to the right. #1- Child abuse, either physical or emotional. - PrincessDuckie  817.8 #205 6:09AM
Cutters! - Knik  456.6 #441 6:15AM
@neverlandtink oh that sucks!! Especially since the line (WDW one anyway) can get to nearly three hours, cutting just makes it worse! And i have nothing against large groups, just that no matter the size, they should have the majority in line, no not 11 out of 20 i mean 14,15, or 16 of your 20. - SplashMountainFTW  5.3 #16270 7:00AM
My #1 PP are meltdowns! meltdowns are 100% preventable. Take your little one to a relatively quiet spot and let them take a nap or just rest. There is no reason is stand in line while your little screams his/her head off because s/he is tired. This goes for adults too, if you can't go back to your hotel find a spot and relax for a little while. Sorry about the novel. I just really dislike seeing parents yelling at their little ones because they all need a break from the over stimulation. - MissyluvsDisneyland  362.0 #587 7:03AM
#1 for me is large families who let their kids rum amok. None of my business that you had 8 kids but why am I expected to be bullpen baby sitter because you can't watch your kids. This of course leads to many of the things we've discussed, loudness, rudeness, etc. - docter419  8.5 #11068 7:24AM
Oh, and teens who act "too cool" for D-land. Obviously you weren't cool enough to get out of a family trip therefore you are not that cool relax and have some fun! Haha - docter419  8.5 #11068 7:26AM

Disneyland unFORECAST (BETA) is here! Top MouseWaiters giving you the rundown of what's happening at the Disneyland Resort. The unFORECAST now has its own page on the web www.unFORECAST.com

unFORECAST for the week of June 1, 2015

This Friday marks the first day of the SoCal Select blockouts (that last through the end of Summer). Expect decent crowds this week--our Historical Crowd Index shows high-70s. The Parks are on late hours through the end of Summer and have selectively extended hours in DCA (Sunday and tonight). Things should ramp up on Friday and it should be a busy weekend. We are still at pre-Summer crowd levels, so now is the time to go if you want to beat the big crowds this Summer. Watch MouseWait for real-time Crowd Index updates as the Resort becomes unpredictable this time of year. - Admin Jun 1, 2015 3:19PM
