as i'm tracking my food i've noticed I'm under my calorie goal buy a few hundred. Is that a sign of always feeling hungry? also does that also contribute in not losing weight? because I've heard it does.
From what I've read, eating less than 1200 calories a day puts you in starvation mode. But I'm not sure if that's for everyone or just "average" weight. It's probably best to eat more than 1300 or 1400 just to be safe. - TamiPoppins

Ah, that's probably good. I tried that for about a week a few months ago, but I decided to raise it to 1500 because I felt hungry all the time. I'm much happier now. - TamiPoppins

Sparkpeople have my goal calories at 1760-2110 so i'm not terribly off. I don't understand how the HCG diet works when you only eat 500 a day - Ashbunn

I agree with the ladies if your calories are too low then you go into starvation mode and your body will hold onto the calories..I find that through the week I vary my calories between below the recommended range (barley) then some does I hit the high end of the recommended range..I also have snacks and small meal throughout the day..I found filling up on water before I eat also helps ..That HCG diet I believe tricks your body into thinking you are pregnant if I am remembering right..In my humble opinion weight gain and loss is an emotional as well as a physical condition...For me dealing with the issues that got me to this weight, healthy cooking and exercise are how I am going to tackel this..Go ASH!!!..So glad to hear you are tracking your food..how is bootcamp going? - Twinklelashes

bootcamp is going great on day 1 of week 2, and i also found a FULL zumba video online. I'm thinking about trying that too
