Hi everyone! I will be in Disneyland from the 5th till the 11th November. As it's in between Halloween and Christmas I am wanting to know if anyone has been at this time and if so are there fireworks and world of colour every night? Thanks
I went last year at nearly that exact time and it was excellent (I'm from Perth). I don't think it was every night - just the weekends. But the Christmas stuff was all up and happening and they had the Holiday layover for HM and IASW. Mansion is awesome! - BLG

Thank u musichic3, I just checked it and it only goes up to September that's good to hear BLG, I was a bit worried as POC will be closed as will the Blue Bayou. This will be my 4th trip to DL and am hoping to catch WOC, Fantasmic and the fireworks as I haven't seen Fantasmic before! - aussiekate

Fantasmic is wonderful. Check the official Disneyland website for dates. That's really too bad about POTC and BB. That would break my heart. - BLG

Yeah I'm not to happy about it at all BTW I am from Canberra - aussiekate

I missed you by a few days last year BLG. I could have seen you and not even know it. I probably would have been annoyed at such a huge group getting on rides together! Even though this year I hope to do the very same! - DisneyFanZoe

My uncle works in Canberra. He's high up in the Navy. I've been several times. It's a good place to visit. You lot must be freezing your buns off though. Zoe, when were you there? I left a day or two before Thanksgiving. - BLG

Oh wait! Then I was there when you were! I left Nov 22nd! I was there from the 15th-22nd. - DisneyFanZoe

It's ridiculously freezing.. Even for Canberra. It was only 4 degrees at 11:30am today!! Canberra's ok. I've been here for all my 32 years. I've never been to Perth but I would love to go someday. I'm very new to MW's but I'm enjoying myself so far and it's such a good connection to have when we are so far away!! - aussiekate

I love the cold. It's going to be 95 here for the next few days. I would love some chilly, chilly temps. - DisneyFanZoe

Welcome to MW! I've been noticing quite a few new aussie members! BLG is your leader ;o) - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz

Zoe - that's a bit tragic, actually! You were there the EXACT time I was! You don't remember any strange, large groups in the parks or someone standing in a boat inside IASW yelling "Aussie Aussie Aussie!"? kate - you poor thing. That's horribly cold. I lived through a few Oklahoma winters, so I know what it's like to be really, really cold - even colder than that. Let me know if you come to Perth. There's another MW family here and we are planning to get together soon. It would be fun to do it again if you popped over. - BLG

Wow! If I only had my iPhone then, I would have been on MW and I would have known! We would get along famously in person. We seem to have much in common. I don't remember any large groups. It wasn't super busy. My Mom was scheduled for knee surgery in Jan, and her knee was really bothering her. She had either a cane or a wheelchair, so we were always in front of the lines. I probably walked passed you! I am so good with faces and names, and I would recognize people in the park I saw earlier that day. Next time for sure! - DisneyFanZoe

I wouldn't be surprised if we were in some of the rides around the same time. We did a couple of ninja visits with a friend who had a GAC. - BLG

Thank u disney42dude! That would be awesome if that were the case!
BLG- that would be cool. Most people I know haven't been to DL and can't understand the joy and excitement it brings me - aussiekate

Isn't that crazy?? - DisneyFanZoe

I know, kate. The average Aussie doesn't get it. They'd rather backpack through Europe or waste their money in Bali. - BLG

Failsauce. DL is fantastic. Europe is good, but not with a backpack. Crazy Aussies. - DisneyFanZoe

Exactly!! I've Only ever been overseas 3 times and each time it is to the US and everytime I've gone to Disneyland and I do get asked all the time why I don't go to Europe!! I would one day like to go there but I'm in love with Disneyland!! There is no more perfect place that I can think of!!
My sister in law lives in Nebraska as she married an American who is in the Reserves so it's also good to go and catch up! - aussiekate

I also get asked why I keep going to america and not to Europe. People just dont get it. One day I will go but they need to get over it - JR

Totally agree guys, i've travelled the world but luv the US and have travelled there many times an nothing beats DL even though i've had to always put up with fellow workers comments through the yrs like "DL again ,etc" but i don't care as i'm proud to say that i have a healthy addiction...... A DL one - bubbaschoice

I get the same thing bubbaschoice!! Now I'm getting the 'why don't u go to Disneyworld instead?' I'm not sure why I don't, maybe it's because I think Disneyland is perfect and I can't imagine how u can beat perfect!! - aussiekate

I've travelled a fair bit, but America is my second home, especially as I've lived their twice, not counting a 5 month visit. And my daughter was born there. I also have a brother who was born in California and a SIL and a BIL who are both from Washington state. I don't care if people make fun of me for loving it. And my blog is really making me love it more as well as deal with my "home"sickness for it. - BLG
