Height restrictions are put in place for a reason. Even if you could hold a 1 year old on your lap on SM, I wouldnt want to put a baby through that. Try ride swap instead. - AubsMom

It's unsafe and illegal, I think. The safety regulations are put into place for a reason. To my knowledge(which may very well be faulty), it is illegal in California for a ride operator to "bend" the safety regulations. - DelilahJo3

Unless your one year-old is over 40inches tall, I'm going to say false! My five year old daughter I'd 41 inches and was checked three times by different cm's along the way. They even had her get out when she sat down in the log to re-check! - indi
