Are all of the costume characters true to gender? Or, are some opposite? (girls in boy costumes, most likely?)

They go by height. Shorter characters are usually girls but they dont have to be. - WhyIsTheRumGone

Lol @armenda. Nooooo men can't be princesses. Face characters (I.e. Princesses, Alice, mad hatter, Wendy, Peter, Mary poppins, etc.) are always the right gender with 2 exceptions. Peter pan in fantasmic is sometimes a girl and Pete from petes dragon in te electric light parade is sometimes a girl. But "fuzzies" (I.e. Mickey, Pluto, captain hook, queen of hearts, etc.) don't have to be gender correct. Just the correct height and weight :) - futureprincess

My ex-hubby's aunt has been switching between two male characters for the past ten years... they go by height and weight and to her, it's not a job. She absolutely loves what she does and that's exactly as it should be - Nala
