My son getting his MRI 2day they said they have 2 put him 2 sleep mommy nervous....hoping everything comes out good....he said seeing this fish tank makes him want 2 go 2 Disney after cause in the tank he found Nemo...

sedation is usually necessary for small children because they have to remain still to get a clear image in the MRI. - Plumiegirl

Nothing worse than that. My son had to go under the knife once when he was two and once when he was 4. Each time we had to stay in the hospital for a month cuz he had to have a chest tube to drain out fluids. Worst time of my life. Il be praying for yours and hoping for the best. - PumpkinKing83
