I just had to say how neat the whole MW community is. Disneyland holds a special place for me. I didn't have the greatest childhood growing up and Disneyland provided the escape I needed as a kid. I would be filled with so much anticipation getting there. The site of the ticket books( this was back in the 70's and early 80's), was magical because each ticket represented a ride or attraction that I could lose myself in. Unfortunately I used other means of escape from that childhood as I got older, but now, being sober, I am enjoying that magical feeling I had as a kid. Disneyland is a truly magical place!
This is wonderful! Congrats on your sobriety! :) - TandAlly

Me and my sister have a similar story. We had a rough childhood and used Disneyland as an escape from the fighting to just be kids and have fun, so glad to hear you are sober and doing better - diznymommy84
