Sorry of Disney related, so bear with me here :) I know that its summer, but school is freaking me out...I'm going to be a sr, and I've basically run out of time. I have until Feb. to get my 3.87 GPA up to a 4.0 to graduate with honors. If I get all As in my HS classes next semester, I'll have a 3.91. If I don't graduate with honors, I can't renew my AP for next year :( I am allowed to take college classes, but my local CC is full and I don't know where to start online. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help :) sorry for the long post, im just a little stressed.
You can't renew your AP unless you graduate with honors yet you currently have a 3.87? That's a bit harsh considering the majority of high school students are well below that and the drop out rate is near 50%. I say you still deserve your pass. As for JC...where do you live? If you're in OC there are multiple JC's around. Maybe sign up for some online classes instead of classroom ones. Take some electives that others don't normally take to get those credits out of the way. The main concern is getting in the system. - KissDclown

If you have such a good GPA why didn't you apply for a 4 year university or state school right away instead of a JC? Do you have a job? Work for the pass yourself, I'm a die hard fan I know I would do that! You seem like a smart student that will succeed in anything you try! So go for it!! - poisonapple

Are you taking any AP(advanced placement) classes? That will help ALOT! It'll boost up your GPA if you get an A in those classes. My sister took a few this past year in high school, her grades came in a few weeks ago and she got straight A's and a GPA of 4.23. - kyoto_sparkle

@Kiss I live in Santa Clarita, so over-full COC seems to be my only option. @Poison I am not considering JC as a replacement for going to a University. My dream school is a state university bu I need higher grades to get there. Taking JC classes while I'm in HS boosts the GPA as if I were taking an AP class. I do have a job, and I always pay for my premium myself, but since my parents are getting divorced I pay for music, vinyls, Disney, sometimes clothes, and whatever else I want myself. My grandparents offered to pay for my AP of I graduate with honors to kinda take some of the weight off of me for all of my hard work. @MrsD yes I am :) I'm taking two next semester...but it's still not enough :( - ekwhite
