Hey all... Wal-Mart Heart Foundation has teamed up with my work (Sam's Club) to help raise money (TO HELP WITH MEDICAL BILLS) for a 5 year old boy, Michael, who was diagnosed July 30th of last year with incurable liver cancer. When he was diagnosed he was already at a stage 4. Michael lives in Pomona, California with his parents, 2 brothers & 2 sisters. Wal-Marts & Sam's Club associates have been asked to donate anything they can to help. Michael, is in remission now but he will never be able to get rid of the cancer. Michael's BIG wish is to go with his family to Disneyland. When I read about this little boy at work I was crushed. My heart just sank. As I thought more & more about how to help or even to lift the families spirits... I was think of what if we all doanted a little bit to get the 5 children Mickey & Minnie ears with their names on them. Sam's Club in Chino, CA is having a get together on July 30th (1 year since Michael was diagnosed) to give the family the moneys that was raised for them. This would be the day I would present the children with the ears & let them know that they were from a very generous & loving group of Disney Lovers! What is your feed back on this? Would you all want to help out? I did ask Admin if I could post this & he said yes!! THANK YOU ADMIN!!!!! **If we decide to do this I will need to collect the money via paypal(if youd like) asap so I can go to DL & get the ears by the 30th. Thank You All!! ♥
***The money donated by MW peeps would be put towards getting the children Mickey & Minnie ears. Then any thing left over will be given to the family to put towards Michael's medical bills.***
