Android Users: Any tips for getting the most out of your battery while in the parks? I can post times with no problem, but as soon as I access the lounge or try to post a live pic, my battery goes from green to yellow very fast.
Can you use a task killer and close programs your not using?

Yeah, get an app like "SuperBox" and kill all the apps running in the background (that you're not using). That might help you. - JaredMc

A few things I do is turn off wifi, GPS, turn down screen brightness. I actually ended up buying a battery extender. I use task killer app too, but it doesn't really seem to do that much, at least for me. - Ericksenator

iPhone is the same...start hitting the Lounge and posting pics and the battery goes pretty quick. I'm lucky if I can make it through the day on a single charge. I have a car charger so we pack a cooler for lunch, go back to the M&F parking, eat lunch and charge. - SergZak

I have battery doc app that let's me shut down WiFi,network and everything beside the phone and text. I also broke down and bought another battery. I change both and take them both I also charge phone on drive up. Still haven't made thru whole day but I get close. - PopcornYeti

I have a task killer. And, I got a Powerskin. Plug it into your phone and it basically gives your phone a full battery charge. Got it on Amazon for $59.99. Well worth it! - Gia

I was actually wondering about this myself cause I barely lasted with my Android the last time there. Hubby and I split up alot when we have the kids so we send a lot of texts back and forth and sometimes pics of what is going on. Then on top of it if I decide to come here and post a pic or wait times. Plus I have the Disney Mobile Magic on my phone as well and use it too. I was wondering about those chargers you can take with like Gia was mentioning. As well as that or getting another battery to carry around. Gia does the Powerskin full charge it? - TheRealEvilQueen

I've tried app killers, not a noticeable difference. If you turn off GPS then you won't be able to post times, right? I'll try lowering screen brightness and searching for another battery or powerskin. Thanks - Bonedaddy

I use Advanced Task Killer Free. You can set it up to auto kill apps when the phone goes to sleep, and every so often. Active apps are not affected, and you can create some apps that can stay active all the time if you want. I found that this really helps my battery life, and if all else fails, bring a charger and take a few breaks around the park at outlets.
