Need help to decide on whether to get on California Screamin...I don't like the feeling of butterflies when rides have drops.I do get on splash mountain cuz it's just one drop but I have gotten on tower of terror & will never get on again! It was bad!!! We will b in Disneyland on July 2nd 4 6 days & I need ur opinion on this ride. Are the drops really bad? Should I get on.
They look worse than they are. Try closing your eyes and it won't be so bad, and if you like it then try it with your eyes open again. - Ms.Mouseketeer

I love Splash Mountain, but swore after going on California Screamin I'd NEVER go on it again! But I'm fine with drops, it was the curly Q's that got me! - Disney-Danni

The drops really aren't that bad, I love California Screamin and I hate TOT and won't ride it either. Try it at least once! - KAA

Right before the drops close your eyes, Hold on tight, flex your stomach muscles and hold your breath! That's how I trianed myself to like big drops! :D you have to try evrything once! Splash scares me more than screamin. - kristeee22

Do it! Take off is a little fast but besides that, the whole experience is great. Took my older sister on TOT and this ride with me (her first roller coaster). and lets just say she loved it even though she screamed it out the whole way! You won't regret it :) - SnowPhannie

Yes, go--as long as you don't have any medical reason not to. It feels so good to conquer a fear, and when you get off of the ride, be proud of yourself and focus on how fun it was :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar

I don't like the drop on splash mtn either. The first hill after launch on screaming is a bit intense, more because of the speed than the drop, that's really the only scary part in my opinion. You should try it at least once. I'm trying to get up the nerve to try WOD next visit! - Twitterpated
