It rained twice when we were there in Oct. The first time wasn't bad and it only lasted around half an hours(mostly just a light drizzle). The second time, it rained almost all day(cleared up about an hour before we left). Luckily we had ponchos but our shoes were soaked. It did help immensely(sp?) with the crowds though. - stubby

Love the park in the rain! One of my favorite trips was in the early '80's in the rain....no lines....extra magic because of the weather....would do it again in a heartbeat. - VeloMouseGirl

Went last turkey day in the rain, and the year prior a week before Christmas in the rain. Crowds were really low, and TOT is awesome at night during a storm. Kinda brings the whole story line to a different level when they open the doors and it's pouring out. LOVE IT, except the soaked feet, that sucked - miguelg916

My daughter and I went to DL last Christmas break and it rained everyday we were there. We were so happy! There were no crowds. We could walk onto any ride. We did not get that wet, since most rides have a covered area while you wait. We used an umbrella to get from ride to ride. Only bad part was there was no Fantasmic or fireworks. - ladylikesdisneysmom

We used to do it a bunch when we just had our oldest son. We didn't do it alot when we had are 2nd son because he got sick to easily when he was little. But we have done it alot over the years and did it a couple times last year. It was just a blast. Always has been in the rain. You do have certain rides not open but still is fun. In March we were there for our 9 yr old's bday and were staying at Paradise Pier. I took him and we went over to DL that night since the older son wasnt' feeling well and our daughter wanted to stay with daddy and him in the room. It wasn't even that bad. It was like a very light rain and people were leaving. We had fun with the lines ending up short thanks to that little bit of rain. By the time we headed back to the room it did pick up a bit but still wasn't to bad at all. So if you ever go have fun. Make sure you have umbrellas and/or ponchos if you want to stay somewhat dry. - TheRealEvilQueen
