I have a few, but for tonight, I'll start with one. Years back, when my brother was roughly 4, my Mom woke up and saw a boy standing there, in her room. She sat up and said "What's the matter? Bad dream?" He said, "Mom?" My Mom sits up in bed, rubs her eyes to wake up, glances at her bedroom door, and realizes the door is shut and locked still. She glances back, the boy is stil there and she realizes it isn't my brother, doesn't even look like him. She turned to wake up her bf, looks back, he is gone, door is still shut. Well about five years ago when I was 11 I shared a room with my then 6 year old sister. She use to tell my mom and I that everynight a mysterious hand would come out of our closet and scratch on our dresser so loud that she wouldn't be able to sleep. Then one night she woke me up screaming say that the hand had grown long thick finger nails and that night when I turned on the lights to prove to her nothing was there I saw scratch marks on our dresser and from that night on some nights I would wake up and hear scratching too! :( I'm so happy I don't live in that house anymore - MinnieNikki  88.1 #3171 9:40PM

Ok so I shared this with a friend the other night and she got creeped lol. So every summer my oldest son goes to Kentucky to stay with his dad for 6 weeks then me and hubby send our lil one off to my parents in NorCal for 4 weeks as well. That leaves me and hubbs alone in house for a month during the summer. Anyhoo, since we have lived in SoCal we have lived at this TownHouse. BTW obviously we are no strangers to strange paranormal experiences. Since that first summer we sent the kids off we have always heard noises in the house and from the kids room almost as if they are still here, running around, sometimes arguing or laughing. We have other lil freaky things that happen but this particular activity only goes on during the summer when the kids are gone. Its already started up this week, as if whatever lil spook we have here does not like the quiet of the house when the kids arent around so it imitates them. Freakiest episode happened last summer. Me and hubbs were in bed dead asleep. I hear my lil one call out "Mom, MOM!" as if he were having a night terror. Naturally I hop out of bed, to go check on him. Hubby popped head up at the same time and asks, "Ya gonna go check on him" I made it to mid hallway then SHRIEKED, ran back to my room, hubby standing up with pale face blocking door. I gesture for him to move before I steam roll over him. He says, "Yeah I just totally realized, WTH". I slam our bedroom door shut, hubbs puts on all the lights in room and turns on TV. We stayed up till the sun came up. I think the spook factor on this one is high for the simple fact that it's not like just one of us heard our boy cry out but both of us were woken up by it, reacted naturally then at the same time came to the realization that our kids were not home and holy geezus that was too real!!! - Jayjay  417.4 #308 9:58PM

This is a true story! About twenty years ago my wife and I stayed at the Disneyland hotel. During the night she is awaken by a strange man in our room. She asks the man what he wants! He tells her he is looking for his son! He says he is very worried that he cannot find him. My wife tells the man his son is not in the room. This goes on for 10-15 minutes. He keeps walking back and forth but does not leave. Finally she tells him she needs to get back to sleep. So he goes. At that moment I feel her sit up in bed and I ask her what is she doing? Only a few seconds have passed since she sat up till the time I wake up! She tells me the story of the man looking for his son. I check the door, it's locked from the inside. The window is closed....we were on the 6th floor. To this day she can recount every minute of that conversation with the man and describe what he looked like, everything. Got another one for you. When I was about 12, my sister had a friend named Karen. Karen and her parents lived on the other side of town. Karen would always tell us about the ghost they had in their house. Karen said the ghost would "play" with people in the house, especially the men. For instance. Karen's brother would be alone in the house. He would turn off a light and go into the other room. While watching TV, the light would turn on by its self. He would go back in the room and turn it off again. While in the back room, the TV would turn off. In addition things would move around. Same set up, you would be in a room and all is fine. Leave and come back and a chair would be pulled away from the table. I went over there one day and was sitting in the living room. I thought I saw something move out of the corner of my eye, but nothing and no one was there. While sitting on the couch I got the chills and the hair on the back of my neck moved as if there was a slight wind moving across it, but no windows or doors were open. Later on Karen and her parents did some checking. They discovered a young unmarried woman died in the house 30 years prior to them moving in. They think the woman's ghost remained and explained why the events seemed to only happen to the men. Needless to say, I never went back in the house again. - People_Mover  24.1 #4740 11:27PM

I've had quite a few experiences! I've had them ever since I was little. I do work at a hospital at night so lots of weird things here! In fact I had to scroll away cuz I'm sitting in the employee lounge, taking my break which is adjacent to a small morgue... Ugh!!!! So I got spooked... Lol... At the hospital, we often will get people calling on the call lights, you hear a voice but no one will be in the room. One night I was in a patient's room. I was helping her with something when all of a sudden the sink in the bathroom turned on and I could hear paper towels rustling on the floor. I opened the door, water was running and the paper towels still moving... At home, growing up, you'd hear people call your name. Itd sound like someone jn your family but when they'd call u, no one was there. I've had people tap my shoulder only to turn around to no one. I've felt pets jump up on my bed, feel the tug of the sheets next to my leg... Open my eyes to pet said animal to have nothing be there but it still walking towards me...
