Has anyone else had problems with pins falling off? When I got back last night realized that I was missing two of mine. I think I'll leave them safe the rest of the trip. I see lots of people with tons of them on lanyards, but mine weren't working... Oh well, better safe than sorry,
They sell some thing that you can use to lock them on....if you ask a cast member I'm sure they will show you some....;) - sweetnerdiheartmickey

Yes! My lil nephew gave me a Zero pin for my birthday. Within 2 hrs it had fallen off and was lost. I was so sad, but he felt worse. I ended up buying another one to replace it. He kept saying it's not the same. - Tammilani

The locking pin backs are great. My grape soda pin fell off my lanyard, thank goodness I heard it fall. It is now locked - bagglady

If you wear a lanyard the locking backs are a must!!!! Also just an FYI I you are ur ap or ticket or fast passes in the holder that comes with the lanyards...be warned that after a day of riding attractions and having the stress from lap bars that those easily fall off! Be careful and aware! - Mouseketeer.for.Short

At Michaels and Wal Mart they sell metal pin backs that are not the locking kind, but hold the pins much more securely than the rubber ones! You can find them in the bead/jewelry making section. - Calypso

To echo what @Mouseketeer.for.short said...the plastic "fast pass" holders are not ideal for holding Aps, FPs, credit card, etc. I bought a thin wallet with a keychain on Main street and use that to hold all my cash, AP, etc. Probably the best investment I made!! (I got the princess one, but I saw a Mickey one as well) - JenInWonderland

It amazes me how many pin backs you see on the ground walking through the park...makes me sad knowing it means someone lost their pin...I constantly check mine...the locking metal backs sound great - cdeley

I like @calypso idea.... The whole Disney day my daughter and I every ten min. Were like "ok, let's check the pins, push them in. Are they all there? Check! Ok. Next attraction" lol!! - fireflymom

I rather have a dole whip than a lick of my pins. But I don't have any dole whip flavored pins yet. - sr citizen space ranger

I have the locking backs on all of ours. They sell them for $7.95 for a pack of 10 at every store when pins are sold. Make sure you don't loose the Allen wrench! They're not all the same! I had to go buy a new wrench that was smaller than the ones now for my older ones. - Tweedle_Deedee

I've never had a problem with the plastic holder for tickets, fp, etc but one of my irreplaceable pins fell off on Indiana jones. Fortunately I saw something fall so I put my foot over it so it wouldn't go anywhere and I picked it up when the ride ended. I am thinking about investing in some locking backs though. :) - RetroMinnie

I would have lost a ton of pins if it weren't for the locking backs. You can get them on eBay as well, however the eBay ones are shorter and I don't like them as well - Pixarprincess

I lost my ticket, fastpasses & room key on the Matterhorn because the plastic puch came off of my lanyard. I got it back from a CM, but I know better now. My lanyard is pinless anyway so I don't bring it. - AllysonWonderland
