To anyone going to the parks today, make sure you go see captain eo and pay tribute. Two years ago the pop world lost one of the most influential artists of all time.

I too have never cried over a celebrity death until MJ's. I will never forgot that day two years ago. I was driving around on my way to the airport in Maui heard it on the radio. I thought it was just a rumor, but they kept playing his songs on the radio. When I got back to LA and saw the headlines, I broke down. - LisaKL

I don't care what people think about him as a person, but I think he was the greatest entertainer of my lifetime. His music is just as great now as it was then. I too was saddened to hear we lost him. Even worse was listening to his daughter at the funeral, what she said and her breaking down during it broke my heart. - ChipnDalefan

I was walking into the hospital to have my baby when I heard on the radio. I told the nurses at admitting and they were so shocked. I think the docs and nurses were more interested in CNN that night than anything else - Missshelly

I do like reading all these.stories of what everyone was doing, its interesting, I was relaxing before.work before a friend told me about, I couldnt believe it, so I turned on the news and it was true, that night at work we all would randomly sing his songs. - AndrewJ

I remember that day 2 years ago. I was at Disney in Tomorrowland when I heard. My cousin texted me. Then I heard the buzz through the crowds. It was amazing how fast the news spread around the parks. - JessicaRabbit33

RIP to the bottom of Mr. Blue's big toe. He slipped on the porch stairs and sliced the bottom of his big toe off and when were in the ER we saw on the news MJ had passed. - Mrsblue

I hadn't known about his death until my MIL called me. She tends to exaggerate so I was skeptical at first. Then I turned on CNN and saw it was true. The greatest entertainer of my generation is truly missed - CaliCanuck
