I think the time limit is the same as the Disneyland 1/2. If so, it's 3:30 or a 16-min mile. I didn't realize it wasn't sold out, so I'm so glad someone told me that today! I'm definitely going to sign up! - Mimmy

You have to keep under a 16 minute mile pace but you should atleast train to do it in a 15 minute mile pace incase you have to stop to pee or take a pic with a character - CoralsReef

Just so you all know, the fun run starts at 10:30pm, yes, PM on Friday night. I cannot believe they made it that late, usually little kids do the 5k with their parents. How many 6 year olds are going to walk 3.1 miles at 10:30pm? - SorcererMky

I just signed up for this. Using it as motivation to get my butt moving again! I think I'm crazy as I'm not a big fan of running. But I figured putting money into something helps. We should set up a FB page or something for support & training tips. - LilSterner

Corals well its from 500 - 600 not including registration. I get scared that I won't get it all... But I contacted 3 of the organizations. One looks like they have an optional donation minimum of 500. I want to make sure before I sign up with them. i am signing up for the tink one right now! - dopeyluv

Dopey, we did a triathlon where we raised $5000 for cancer...it's a little stressful but everyone involved was able to meet their requirements. We donated some, but it feels good to. Reach out to all your connections IF it is for a cause you support and would like to promote. Just my two cents tho. I'm super pumped you are doing the Tink one! :) - CoralsReef

Last year I did the DL 1/2 as a fundraiser for Special Olympics. You had to raise at least $165. They wanted you to raise $1000, but I think if you covered that minimum $165 you were ok. I ended up raising $1800 and won a free night hotel stay the night before the race. It felt great to raise money and awareness for a good cause, plus it actually cost me less than if I'd paid directly thru Disney. - Mimmy

Mimmy! I just double checked! You are right! Its 200 for registration and you have a goal of 800 to raise. If you raise it you get your 200 back if not then I can still run! I think I chose my team!! yah! Thanks all! I am excited because my uncle passed about 2 years ago and was a special needs adult. I will run for him =) - dopeyluv

Dopeyluv, I think they have 2 options like you just found. One is just an outright payment of $500 for entry and donation, but you don't have to fundraise. The other is fundraising so they want you to aim for $1000. I was shocked how many people donated! Hopefully your friends and family will surprise you. :) - Mimmy

yeah so I just did it and they messed up on my registration.... =( I put general runner and they registered me for the other one with the flat 500!! =( I emailed them and I hope they can fix it! - dopeyluv
