Now I'm totally bummed out. I won a RAK from pirateslife4me but I didn't know about until after it was too late to respond!!!

I'm really hurt that I emailed her an hour after she posted the new one and she was like "Too late because it's already reposted. But you can try again!". If it was my RAK, I would have bumped it before reposting it or responded to one of the winners other posts. It's not like I haven't been around today! - Tweedle_Deedee

It is disappointing, but we have to remember that it's a generous gift and a RAK so don't be too upset. However in the spirit of RAKs it would have been nice to make an exception. It doesn't look like the "you've won" post was bumped beyond a half hour or the original announcement and things get buried so fast. That post is probably 100 pages back by now! - Mimmy

@Mimmy you're right but in the spirit of kindness, if the person contacted you even if it was reposted, wouldn't you still follow through since there wasn't any bumps since it was originally post especially when the user name is wrong? I do a daily search of posts with my user name but I include the underscore. I never saw this - Tweedle_Deedee

in all fairness, the stipulations of the RAK did say to contact them within 48 hrs, and it is a Random Act of Kindness, so they are giving it away as a gift with no expectations of anything in return - ERICKA

Just a tip, hit "like" on all the RAKs you enter, so therefore you can check back in your faves and see who has won. - Ms.Mouseketeer
