Yes the Disney Store is open. Also visit the Walt Disney Museum. You must walk pier 39, take a cable car. Have a drink at the Top of the Mark (Mark Hopkins Hotel). At night there is an AMAZING dueling piano bar at the Irish House! They guys that play the piano and sing are awesome! If you have kids, The Exploratorium is fun and the Zeum is cool!!! Of course there's Alcatraz and Ghirardelli Square! - WickedWench

Is Alcatraz still open? When we went, I wanted to take the Alcatraz tour Soooo bad, but when I got to the ticket booth, they told me you had to book it weeks in advance? - Zipitydoodahdad

If you can swing getting to the Disney store before they open maybe 10 or 15 minutes, the cm take a look outside to see who Is there. If you have a child when the store opens they will let the child open the imagination. It's a cute little ceremony that they do and you get a keepsake key. It was so much fun for my daughter. Even if you don't have a child you can still open the doors as long as there are no children there. Have fun lots of stuff to do!!! - Sasha513
