Let this weeks Disney Mania Monday begin!!! This week we are discussing your biggest Disney splurge! This splurge can either be multiple items in one day or at one shot! Mine is 30 vinyls in one day. Horrible I know... What's your biggest Disney splurge? Keep the conversation going as long as you would like this is meant to bring us all closer together! Happy posting mousewaiters. Let me know if there's a topic you would like to discuss next week!

The hubby and I just spent a butt load for our disney anniversry which included hotel, food, and vinyls! A lot of money but it made for one anazing anniversary that we will never forget! :) - kritomiester  328.3 #497 7:39PM
Biggest Disney splurge was getting Premium passes! - MissyluvsDisneyland  358.1 #405 7:47PM
My vacation coming up..getting a hotel, 3 day hopper and woc reservations. - NeverlandTink  421.8 #310 7:51PM
Besides my first Premium pass and our honeymoon, my biggest splurge was my Goofy hat when I was 9. I wanted it soooo badly and I agonized over whether or not I should use my hard-earned allowance for it, lol! I got it and wore it every time I visited the parks for the next couple years. I still have it! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  439.1 #288 7:52PM
ohhh my boyfriend could tell you that I keep myself busy by shopping at the parks while he and other photogs set up to take pictures!! I think biggest splurge would have to be when I bought a couple shirts/sweaters, purse, jewelry and some pins...$250 was my final shopping total for the day!!! uhm needless to say I was not shopping like that the rest of our trip! hahaha - melynamarie  40.6 #4050 7:53PM
Taking a family of 10 on a week long vacation to WDW!!! That broke us!! But the memories last forever!! - Katrayher  744.2 #139 7:53PM
I'm going to choke a little...we took $2000 spending money on our six day trip in April. And we still had to dip in to savings. But it was the trip of a lifetime! First time for both kids, and we didn't want to have to say "no" to them. We had a blast :) - TandAlly  213.5 #1466 7:54PM
Our APs were a big splurge. - Yoshi  257.2 #952 7:54PM
I just splurged to take 8 people from Utah to WDW in December. That's gonna leave a mark. - streetsweeper  446.6 #284 7:57PM
Quite a few years ago, my husband & I splurged on a Carl Barks Scrooge McDuck lithograph...and got to meet Mr. Barks himself and get it signed! Oh so expensive and my camera lost all the photos, but the memory of meeting the great Carl Barks is one that will stay with me forever! - Cameo  306.7 #588 7:58PM
I hope to splurge on an AP someday. My last trip I had dinner at the Plaza Inn and even though that's probably on the low side it's expensive for someone like me who is usually ordering off the $1 menu. - JennDear  16.5 #5565 7:58PM
I don't think I've ever splurged... but I have definitely gone overboard on Disney stuff (20 buttons from Chrissykins... costumes & princess outfits for my goddaughters and nieces....). But the best purchase recently was the DL brick :) - PrincessSarah  160.5 #2190 8:01PM
Wow my splurge sounds small in comparison to some of these but maybe that's because I don't have to pay for aps... Food.... Or anything else I just don't want just for me.... I am so lucky to have Disney loving parents!;) - thebigr  8.1 #7725 8:03PM
My Premier AP is the spurlge, everything else I get tight on. Two premier is enough of a spurlge, that I watch my pennies when I do go, although I want SO much! - MarshaMouse  2935.8 #16 8:06PM
We purchased Disney Vacation Club Membership in Feb., purchased a Deluxe AP for our 8 year old, and renewed ours on the same day. And that was after a 3 day stay at the Grand! I felt dizzy when we got home! - cinderelli  328.4 #496 8:09PM
Disney premium Ap n it was all worth it send my pins - Tinky76  309.6 #580 8:14PM
PrincessSarah reminded me-that's the trip we purchased our brick also. Thank goodness it was a short month:) - cinderelli  328.4 #496 8:14PM
Buying my premium AP! :o - ladylikesdisney  926.7 #96 8:15PM
Wedding and honeymoon - Dopeygal  277.0 #773 8:16PM
Quick question since it's brought up... How much do you need to spend to get a brick?? I've heard from my parents we've been close but never got to hear the exact number... - thebigr  8.1 #7725 8:17PM
Premium AP as well. Other than that... some misc items at the shops! - BriHizzle  306.0 #595 8:17PM
Premium passes for my family of 5. But worth every penny. :):):) - Sallyskellington  196.4 #1715 8:26PM
Omg @tandally you are so sweet to do that for your kids!!!! Someday I'll follow your example and do that for mine:) this is what Disney is all about - thebigr  8.1 #7725 8:59PM
40 pins in one day - hippoluver  268.8 #854 9:06PM
Staying at the Grand. Best splurge ever! - ladyk23  12.3 #6307 9:07PM
Well if you don't count our honeymoon on the Disney cruise then my 2 dooney and Bourke purses. I love them - dznyloon28  324.6 #516 10:46PM
My 55th Anniversary Dooney and Bourke purse and my first premium AP this year - cyndaws  252.9 #1008 10:50PM
I'm a little late. But, my biggest splurge is getting ice cream at the Golden Horseshoe. Growing up, my parents would agree to one small souvenir per trip, like a Mickey light sword. But more often than not, we went with my older brother, who wouldn't get anything for us, he just pushed us on the big rides that we were still afraid of. But last year my little brother and I spent like $20 a day just on ice cream. Yikes! - DelilahJo3  178.6 #1914 10:38AM
My Premier AP - SorcererMky  236.7 #1172 10:41AM
We splurge every time because we don't get to DL as often as we like since we don't live in Cali - cdeley  395.3 #343 10:44AM
I think mine is either my lunch for hubby and me at Club 33 or 5 Preimum APs. Not sure which was more.  - Arielkitten13  122.9 #2739 10:46AM
I try not to spent too much money at the parks so I don't splurge but my boy buys me stuff when we go... his biggest splurge was treating me to Blue Bayou and buying me a D&B Wristlet :) - Elphiero  43.2 #3972 11:02AM
I HAVE to always stay at one if the Disney hotels! I save up money during the year and spend it all on the hotel and room service one day.  - gfylvr  33.1 #4328 11:06AM
Mine would be September when we take my best friend and her husband to Disneyland with us for a week-broke now but it's so worth it! - arieldonald  11.0 #6589 11:10AM
Staying at a suite in the grand for three days when I was 8.5 months pregnant and didn't want to be far from the park. Worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat! - akpoppins  245.1 #1077 11:14AM
Me and my mom bought 10 vinyls in a single visit. So exspensive. So worth it. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #252 11:16AM
Aside from our Premium APs, I have to say the biggest to date has been a night away at Paradise Pier for our 9 yr old's bday in March this year. We decided to not just do the hotel for the night but also get room service for breakfast that day as well. So for us this was a MAJOR splurge there. Which we plan to do it again but next time longer even though we don't live far. It was just such a blast for us all to do. - TheRealEvilQueen  24.4 #4792 11:17AM
I haven't really bought anything with a big $ amount, but I've seen many, many guests spend a lot of $$$$ - BaseballMickey_CM  2993.9 #15 11:17AM
In '03 we bought the 2-3 foot mechanical Disney Christmas characters. Pooh, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, etc. It was awesome! - Disney-Danni  10.6 #6702 11:20AM
