Let this weeks Disney Mania Monday begin!!! This week we are discussing your biggest Disney splurge! This splurge can either be multiple items in one day or at one shot! Mine is 30 vinyls in one day. The hubby and I just spent a butt load for our disney anniversry which included hotel, food, and vinyls! A lot of money but it made for one anazing anniversary that we will never forget! :) - kritomiester

Besides my first Premium pass and our honeymoon, my biggest splurge was my Goofy hat when I was 9. I wanted it soooo badly and I agonized over whether or not I should use my hard-earned allowance for it, lol! I got it and wore it every time I visited the parks for the next couple years. ohhh my boyfriend could tell you that I keep myself busy by shopping at the parks while he and other photogs set up to take pictures!! I think biggest splurge would have to be when I bought a couple shirts/sweaters, purse, jewelry and some pins...$250 was my final shopping total for the day!!! uhm needless to say I was not shopping like that the rest of our trip! hahaha - melynamarie

I'm going to choke a little...we took $2000 spending money on our six day trip in April. And we still had to dip in to savings. But it was the trip of a lifetime! First time for both kids, and we didn't want to have to say "no" to them. We had a blast :) - TandAlly

Quite a few years ago, my husband & I splurged on a Carl Barks Scrooge McDuck lithograph...and got to meet Mr. Barks himself and get it signed! Oh so expensive and my camera lost all the photos, but the memory of meeting the great Carl Barks is one that will stay with me forever! - Cameo

I hope to splurge on an AP someday. My last trip I had dinner at the Plaza Inn and even though that's probably on the low side it's expensive for someone like me who is usually ordering off the $1 menu. - JennDear

I don't think I've ever splurged... but I have definitely gone overboard on Disney stuff (20 buttons from Chrissykins... costumes & princess outfits for my goddaughters and nieces....). But the best purchase recently was the DL brick :) - PrincessSarah

We purchased Disney Vacation Club Membership in Feb., purchased a Deluxe AP for our 8 year old, and renewed ours on the same day. And that was after a 3 day stay at the Grand! I felt dizzy when we got home! - cinderelli

I'm a little late. But, my biggest splurge is getting ice cream at the Golden Horseshoe. Growing up, my parents would agree to one small souvenir per trip, like a Mickey light sword. But more often than not, we went with my older brother, who wouldn't get anything for us, he just pushed us on the big rides that we were still afraid of. But last year my little brother and I spent like $20 a day just on ice cream. Yikes! - DelilahJo3

Aside from our Premium APs, I have to say the biggest to date has been a night away at Paradise Pier for our 9 yr old's bday in March this year. We decided to not just do the hotel for the night but also get room service for breakfast that day as well. So for us this was a MAJOR splurge there. Which we plan to do it again but next time longer even though we don't live far. It was just such a blast for us all to do. - TheRealEvilQueen

In '03 we bought the 2-3 foot mechanical Disney Christmas characters. Pooh, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, etc. It was awesome! - Disney-Danni
