If you have a droid you can get all kinds of free ringtones by making them yourself...if you have another phone you can usually record a sound and make that your ringtone! - Mouseketeer.for.Short

This is how I create all the free ringtones I want for iPhone. (works for most songs except highly protected ones) iTunes: pick a song, right click and create aac version. Wait till done and right click get info. Options, click start time/stop time and find what part you want (:40sec max). Click ok, right click, create aac version. Right click on the now shorter file, show in windows explorer, click on file name and change the .m4a to .m4r at the end. Drag file to ringtones section in iTunes! Tada. Delete extra files but make sure to keep your original song file!! sorry so long. Enjoy! - DisneyVillainLover

Just know a lot about computers. Let me know if you need help since it was a "short" version of how to do it. And no jjdq, I haven't figured that out yet. I'm pretty sure you have to jailbreak your phone and I don't do that. - DisneyVillainLover

Grrr... I had the neatest little program (that was free) from when I had an iPhone that helped chop down mp3s for you by actually fading in and out if you wanted it, then when you got done, loaded it automatically into iTunes. I can't find it, but will keep looking for it on one of my backup shares here at home, I will throw it up on the internet if I find it, or link to it. - ZombieJerky
