We went like 3 yrs ago but we got tons of apples & carrots they had healthy treats you just had to ask for them ( my son doesn't eat candy ) - mommy_likes_minnie

We went on the first Friday last year and the only lines were for candy. Only cost $44, too. Best fireworks show. We are going as little green men this year. - sr citizen space ranger

As for the crowds it ain't that bad candy lines move super fast there's dif trails threw the park.. We didn't go on any rides so idk the lines for that.. I think it was awesome we have our dvc so we stay at the grand.. We already booked our rooms I'm too excited my daughter is due in august so will have a princess to dress up as well.. - HOTDOGsMOMMY

The Trick or Treat Party was a blast. In addition to tasty good candy, healthy alternatives such as raisins, carrots, apples, fruit leathers, and craisins were available. Fun and entertaining Halloween costumes, too. Highly recommended. - DoleWhipComa

You can take your own bags..(but they give out free bags like little ones) You can ride the "attractions" that are open.. Tickets go on sale for the public I believe in July.. APs can buy them now..!! You also can go in the park at 4 the Halloween party don't start until 7 but you can't go dressed up at 4.. But still extra bonus to go on rides and stuff.. - HOTDOGsMOMMY

I'm planning on going!! Im a bit confused though.... Can we be dressed up all day Y the park until the party and if the firework show is only for the party guests can't the general public in the park see it too? Also, are the ride open? - allisonmarie

Adults can only dress up for the party, not all day. ( but they were really lax about that last year) only those that paid for the party can stay in the park and watch the fireworks, and all the rides are open. - OutNumberedMom

Adults can dress up but not until 7 but you can get in at 4.. So I guess if your not dressing up but your kids r go at 4.. Also the fireworks are only for mickeys trick oh treat party.. The days they hold the party they close the park at 5 or so.. And you only can get in with a Halloween party ticket they also give you a bracelet to tell you apart from the general guest.. And some rides are open I'm not sure if all the rides in Disneyland is open.. But like haunted mansion and space mountain is open for sure cause they are changed for the hoilday.. - HOTDOGsMOMMY
