I was thinking, as I do on occasion, when a child is too scared of a ride, say, Mansion, the CMs will try to convince the child that the ride is not as scary as it seems and is rather fun. I'm not sure, but I'd assume they would mention that it's all fake and make believe. Now, if I'm not mistaken, isn't this ruining the magic? Doesn't doing this take out all the fun of the show? What if the child's scared of everything? Just go ahead and reveal that everything's fake? So then I thought, why not use a sort of "not tall enough" pass type deal for scared kids? Like a "not ready to embark" pass? The CMs could determine if a child just isn't ready for the ride but is still interested. They then proceed to give them a card that would read something like, "Bring this pass and 3 other brave guests to the front of the ________ line when you have decided that you are at last ready to embark on this adventure." Maybe they can be specific to each ride with lingo themed to that ride. Thoughts?

I don't think it ruins the magic at all. On the contrary, it brings the magic to life. What was once feared and avoided is now enjoyable and able to be shared with friends and family. Can't ask for better magic then that. - ThinkThinkThink
