Was supposed to go to Disneyland today but instead kids stayed in with 102 and 101 fevers. C'mon people please don't bring sick kids to birthday parties :(. I miss d-land.
no fun having kids that sick! Hang in there! - jjdq

Pet peeve here!! Anyone that goes out sick! No wonder we have epidemics. What I really love is the remarks "well they don't have a fever anymore" hmmm really? "yeah, I gave them tylenol" DUH!!!! Doesn't mean they are well!! For goodness sakes!! I'm going to stop now lol - SupremeLeader

Kids should be fever free for at least 24 hours before going anywhere. 48 is even better. - Mrsblue

My son coughs all of the time. A horrible barking cough. Not because he is sick but because he has asthma. - Mrsblue

@pinaycharms I'm so sorry they are sick and it happened when you were supposed to be at Disneyland I have a coughing kid next to me right now. Poor girl sounds really bad. I'm lucky tho because I can put up our Rocket bounce house in the backyard so they can play and not take them to a park to contaminate others. That's hard. I'm praying the recover soon and you can get to Disneyland soon for some family time. ((hugs)) - CoralsReef

My daughter was born with pnuemonia and she gets it three or more times a year every year. She had her tonsils and adnoids out last summer which almost killed her and took my sanity. So I hate when sick people come around her. - Mrsblue

I'm sorry pinaycharms! What a bummer, I hope all are feeling well soon.
I cant stand it when sick people and kids are everywhere. Stay home and get well. Makes no sense to spread germs all over Gods creation. Plus I don't know about you, but when I'm sick, I wanna stay in bed. Why are said people out and about? And why do they do that to their kids? No common sense. But as I always say, common sense is not that common.
Mrsblue, that's awful about your daughter. Is she doing well now? - DisneyFanZoe

@mrsblue my little boy is the same way!
He coughs and coughs but there is nothing wrong with him besides the asthma. Poor kid has to hit the inhaler a few times a day. - MissyluvsDisneyland

I agree that sick people shouldn't go into public places and in a perfect world it wouldnt happen but it is extremely difficult not to. If I missed work the whole time I had a cold I would be in big trouble with my boss. Not to mention that I can't afford to not get paid. Working moms have it even harder because they have to miss work every time one of their kids is sick. Most places of employment just won't tolerate being absent that much. It's a really tough juggling act. Seems like kids get sick a lot. My granddaughter's pediatrician said in a way it's good that they're building their immune system but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with. - Hesatalkintome
