With so many people having a small problem with the younger MWers maybe there should be a MW Jr.

I don't quite follow. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #252 9:30PM
Oh I can see that getting outa control with the quickness! May be a good idea though? - donnievegas  1127.7 #72 9:30PM
IFRR is 14 and no one has ever had a bit of problem with him. - Mrsblue  692.4 #150 9:32PM
I think people just need to be a little more accepting. Younger kids need guidance to get the hang of things. We were all young once, remember? - TandAlly  213.5 #1466 9:33PM
I agree TandAlly. Either educate the youngings or scroll past. - Jewelz  475.3 #259 9:36PM
The younger MW's are fine. They just need to lurk more to get a better feel for the lounge. Most of them lately have been jumping in with both feet before even reading the FAQs. Give them some time and they will get it. Remember this app is Disney lovers first, there will always be posts that you don't care for, just ignore them and move along. - garrlusdland  52.3 #3761 9:36PM
IFRR is wise beyond his years :) 14 year olds like him are few and far between! - TandAlly  213.5 #1466 9:37PM
TandAlly's right. We just need to give a little extra guidance. After that, they need to observe and get a feel for the lounge on their own :). I must say, I'm very surprised at how differently a 13-14 year old communicates online than a 18-20 year old. There's a definite gap that we can all help bridge. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  439.1 #288 9:37PM
I have to respectfully disagree with you. I quite enjoy the view that the younger MWers have of DL. I feel that they often find things I overlook. I think what would be effective is for MWers to all realize that we have age differences and need to conduct ourselves in such a manner. Younger MWers should realize that they are in the presence of adults and should understand that some things they might not "get" for lack of a better word. Older MWers should be sensitive to the younger crowd and have patience. We have all been young and I know who I was even 5 years ago was completely different than who I am now. Being aware and sensitive to our differences could foster a better environment. - ladylikesdisney  926.7 #96 9:37PM
It was just a though...you know somewhere for the younger MWers could go and talk kid stuff that maybe the adult MWers dont want to read about and vs. I think that the kids would love to have something their own too! Just thinking out loud here, that's all. Nothing more. - Pinup Princess  167.4 #2077 9:39PM
It takes a village people :) - iDreamAboutDumbo  307.4 #587 9:39PM
I enjoy many of the younger MWrs and was in noway picking on cbeast. - Mrsblue  692.4 #150 9:39PM
im 14 and i wouldn't want to be put in a JR. group away from all the original mousewait fun! - DonaldMissingPants  296.2 #648 9:48PM
Guys...I understand the maturity of most of the younger crowd. My daughter relates better to adults. I thought my suggestion would be fun for kids, not a punishment. I guess I was wrong, which is allowed sometimes, right???? - Pinup Princess  167.4 #2077 9:53PM
Just thinking about this a little more. Maybe it would be above idea to have a "Land" of MW that teens could visit voluntarily? By this, I mean that they wouldn't be forced to be in the teen lounge, but it could be an option? I kind of like that--I might have appreciated it when I was younger. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  439.1 #288 9:54PM
What's weird is before today I didn't even think of younger mwers. Everyone seems pretty mature to me on here so without knowing their age, I had no idea. - ❤MellieKay❤  130.4 #2630 9:56PM
Okay now I see where you're going with this, disneycrazy. I'd probably be more supportive if a MW jr was designed for the younger crowd as a reward instead of a punishment. Like they would be allowed access to the original MW, but have a MW jr with extra perks. Like a Words with Friends tie in that they could play with fellow MW jrs or something along those lines. - ladylikesdisney  926.7 #96 9:57PM
i've learned a lot of online etiquette and a lot of insight on life on MW, just listening to adults talk gives a different perspective on life and i have to thank everyone for helping me mature... thanks all MWers!! - DonaldMissingPants  296.2 #648 9:59PM
Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me either??? Not a requirement, but a lounge fir kids, that revolved around kids! We could even go and visit!!! I am Liking this the more I think about it. There are alot of directions it could go in, like special RAKs in this lounge just for kids, etc... - Zipitydoodahdad  258.3 #939 10:01PM
Am I bugging anyone? I'm fourteen. If I am, please tell me now. I won't be offended :) - storminmormon  21.9 #4989 10:16PM
I am bugging people and that actualy is a good idea. I'm so happy I'm still aloud to be on mousewait - cbeast  37.3 #4161 10:25PM
Ok not to stir the pot but I'm way overprotective when it comes to my kids and the idea of a separate area for kids scares me. I think it would single them out as youngins and could open to predators. Right now everyone is in the same pot and there is a little bit of safety in that. With being said its very important that we all know what are kids are doing and what apps they play with. Sorry for the book just my opinion. - PopcornYeti  377.6 #368 10:26PM
Put me in the playpen. - CxD_CM  518.6 #227 10:27PM
Storminmormon, I didn't even know you were young! - TandAlly  213.5 #1466 10:30PM
I have to agree, putting all teens in one place might not be the safest although it sounds like fun and it'd be easier to organize teen meet ups that way - jazzydarling  37.8 #4144 10:32PM
PopcornYeti, those are great points. I guess this would only work if there were moderators (other than users) patrolling the lounge. I dont think we have moderators now, but I could be wrong. There is a need to keep our MW kids safe :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  439.1 #288 10:33PM
@TanDally. Is that a good thing? - storminmormon  21.9 #4989 10:34PM
I'm a hooligan. - CxD_CM  518.6 #227 10:34PM
All this confusen has made me tire so good night cbeast signing off - cbeast  37.3 #4161 10:41PM
i agree with @popcornyeti! the older MWers always look out for us! - DonaldMissingPants  296.2 #648 10:41PM
Young MW's ROCK.... I was hoping they didn't want to kick us big kids off there line. This sandbox is big enough for all of us to have fun in.. It's refreshing to here there views on things. Thanks again Admin... - DavidDisney  36.3 #4193 11:14PM
