Hi guys, got an ap question for you. If i purchase an ap online, is it activated at time of purchase or time of first use?

And I've learned that the # can't be used to register for the online AP site until it's activated in the park your first day. - iDreamAboutDumbo

You must take a photo at the AP center. It no longer shows on your pass but it shows up on the computer screen when the CM swipes the AP upon admission :o) - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz

It's the day you first use it but you still have to go to the AP center to get your card. - akpoppins

Im paying for my AP with the monthly plan and I had the printed pass for like a month and I went to disneyland on June 4th and on my official pass it has the expiration date as 6/4/12. So it's not the day of purchase it's the day you redeem your pass at the parks - ReturnOfTheCaptain

oh wonderful! I plan on purchasing my first ap next week but don't know when i plan on going to the parks so i wanted to make sure im not losing on any time by not using it right away. - mochamistie
