Since there has been a lot of talk about the prices going up on AP's. I thought I read somewhere that in the next year or so Disneyland is going to start just charging monthly rates to be an AP. There would be no expiration date on passes. You can go as long as you are paying your monthly fee. Like a gym membership.(Obviously there would still be blackout days on passes) But has anyone else heard/read this?
or maybe no blockout days! if only.... - ERICKA

Yeah, I wish I could remember where I read it. It may have been on the Disney blog. I remember in the same article I read it was talking about all the changes they were making to DCA. I would imagine it would be a flat rate fee but I am sure since it would be monthly the prices could go up at anytime. - kbeenss

when i upgraded my pass on tuesday the CM said that there would be no exp. dates or the type of pass you have printed on the card. You will have one card and keep that card when you renew each year. I think it would make sense to have it on a monthly basis so someone may not have to commit to a full year. - JenInWonderland

I remember someone telling me this a while ago to keep an eye on my exp date if I don't plan on renewing. Hopefully they will give us more lead time before they another change. - PopcornYeti
