Have you been to the Parks the week of Christmas break? I know the crowds will be heavy, which I am not a huge fan of. My husband's vacation is scheduled for Christmas week, but we have the option to change it to mid-October. Thanks for your response!

October is a wonderful time to go!! But Christmas is beautiful even with the crowds. - tinkfan  196.3 #1680 9:58AM
I think it would be better to change it to mid-October:) that's just my opinion! Cause last year I went the week before Christmas break and it rained the whole entire time and it was soo cold!! - Disneyluver550  9.4 #6955 9:59AM
I've gone the week before Christmas and it wasn't too bad! - ilovemickey8  321.6 #516 10:01AM
I went one year the day after Christmas, and I would not recommend it. The week between Christmas and New Years is typically the busiest of the year - Kari_Bo_Berry  361.5 #388 10:01AM
Last year my bf and I went on December 22 and 23, it was amazing! Not too crowded and he didn't complain lol. Star tours and little mermaid wasn't there so the waits were okay; snow white was 25mins and screamin was 45 if that should help. but now that TLM and ST is open, I expect more people but you never know. Also its Christmas time so you get IASW holiday and HM holiday :) and during October you get mickey Halloween party :) its tough to choose sorry! - DisneyVillain  355.8 #400 10:06AM
I believe last year they actually closed entry to the park because of it being at full capacity. October is amazing to me tho if it's early in the month Haunted mansion and space mt could be closed for the halloween overlays - RocklinMousewife  259.6 #913 10:07AM
They closed it on Christmas I believe....so avoid that day lol - DisneyVillain  355.8 #400 10:08AM
It may be crowded, but in my eyes, it is the most beautiful time to visit. - Disney74  3.5 #16578 10:12AM
This past christmas wasn't to bad it was christmas day that was horrible. We were there the week of christmas had a blast even though it rained almost the entire time there - cowboygoofy  211.5 #1465 10:28AM
Christmas is too busy for me!!! - Katrayher  739.0 #138 10:31AM
It's crowded, but it's got extra magic!!!! The decorations and music, the special fireworks, snow and castle lighting. It's my favorite time of year!!! I love Halloween, but Christmas is my favorite!!! - JenAnneWho  300.7 #610 10:32AM
We went the 24-26 of 2009. The 24th was fine, crowded but not unbearable. The 25th was miserable. Way too crowded and won't do it again. We went back to the hotel and went to the pool. Just an expensive trip to the pool. - Sugarbuzz  45.5 #3851 10:41AM
I went last year 5days before Xmas and they stopped selling tickets at 10am because they DL had reached its maximum capacity of people allowed. But tickets were being sold for Dca. A lot of people were turned away and left very angry - pirateslife4me  184.3 #1818 11:10AM
Oct. has all the Halloween/Fall stuff, and is less crowded versus Christmas time. But it's all in your preference. I enjoy Christmas, but Halloween is my favorite! - jazmin21  182.3 #1834 1:26PM
I was at DL on Christmas day and it sold out! 28th was crazy too. Christmas = large crowds BUT nice decor. OCT = nicer weather and smaller crowds so you pick your trade off - Disneymba  39.3 #4019 1:40PM
