how does pin trading work in Dl & DCA? i heard that if you have pins to trade and want a certain pin from a CM they HAVE to trade. or am i wrong?
Cms do HAVE to trade. Only kids can trade from the blue/green lanyards though. All other color lanyards are adult friendly. Two pins mac per trade per cm per guest. - MagicFeather

How can you tell if a pin is counterfeit or not? I think I will have some counterfeit pins. Should I try to trade or not? - PrincessKristin

Ohh ok so im guessing if a CM has a certain favorite pin, they wont wear it on their lanyard to work lol. And i wanted to buy a certain pin on ebay in the details it stated it was an official disney lanyard pin to be traded - Jennabennabofenna

The pins that CMs have are not their own. The pins are supplied by Disney. This is one of the ways to get hidden Mickey pins. Other is to buy the mystery packs in the pin stores, but those are hidden Mickey pins from 3 months back. - Coaster

They do not accept a pin if you are offering a duplicate of a pin they already have on their lanyard/pin holder. - DesperateMousewife
