So we are dying to surprise the kids with a Disney trip but we can't afford the normal ones we do. I need advice on the best hotel for the best rate. We usually do the Staybridge but that's not very cheap we just love the kitchens in the room and awesome free breakfast. Thank you in advance :)
My aunt rents out four houses around the corner from Disneyland! I stay in them all the time! They are so nice with a pool spa steam shower. One sleeps 11, the others sleep more! Full Kitchen with everything you need and games and a pool table and stuff. I don't know the rates but it will sve you a lot of money cause you can cook! Plus, if you had another friend with a family you guys could get one together. I think one house sleeps like 20 people. So if you and another family payed half each it would be pretty cheap! :) - kaleighmungo

I think it might be just myself, hubby, and 3 little ones but I will keep that in mind if we get a big group! Thank you - ❤MellieKay❤

Desert palms is pretty well priced. Also a family friend is taking her fam in a couple weeks and they're staying at Carousel across the street. You get a great rate if you stay a few days. I think she's only paying 76-something like that for 6 days. - courtney-rella

@kaleighmungo, where can we get more info about these houses?!
@melliekay, i have stayed at the Alamo Inn (it's wakling distance from the park, the rooms are decent but not that nice, i wouldn't recommend using the pool, haha) and at the Crown Plaza (they have a shuttle to the park, since it is like 2 miles away, but they are very nice and the rooms were nice). - sjg6438

Last month Hubby and I stayed at the Park Vue Inn directly across the street. Comp breakfast and afternoon snacks. It was very reasonable tho I'm not sure about summer rates. Also had small fridge in the room! - RocklinMousewife

We usually stay at the Best Western Anaheim Inn right across the street. It is usually about 85-90 a night but no breakfast. The rooms have a fridge and microwave so we take cereals, milk, fruit and microwaveable foods for the mornings and for when we need snacks. It saves us some serious money...which means we get to go to the park for more days :) - withaneejen

I have stayed at most of the hotels in the area. IMO your best bang for your buck is Hampton Inn that is in Garden Grove or the Howard Johnson. Buy a entertainment book and use that for additional discounts. Especially nice discount at the Hojo. - cormierj1

We used Costco our last trip. We might again since you get a free meal at Ariels Grotto or goofys kitchen. The deal was pretty good. We just bought a house in Jan and our insurance is AAA I'll have to go price them :) - ❤MellieKay❤
