So, my bus driver to the Toy Story lot told me that people walk 5 miles for every 8 hours they are at DL! Does anyone wear a pedometer while they are there? How accurate is this information?
Well not sure about that.. I would think it depends on what you do that day. I have brought my ped. W/ me and my "slow" days ( blister , Tom) I do at least 5 miles. My best day I did 12. I also park hop. - Twinklelashes

Wow--twelve! That's almost a half-marathon :) I agree: it definitely depends on how active you are while you're there. I guess it also depends on where you stay. One time, our walk was 20 minutes just to the front gate, so that's about a mile and a half one-way before we even got in the park. Interesting! Thanks for your info :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar

I average 8 to 10 most days at the parks - vernswifevickie

Wow! I totally underestimated myself--before the driver told me this, I was thinking we walked 3-4 miles a day. We are pretty active, moving quickly from park to park and DTD. We also usually add in Tarzan's Treehouse and the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. I guess we are doing more than we thought! Makes me feel better about my Pommes Frites! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

I know that I've clocked 10-12 miles in a single day before. - Mrs.mouse

I wear a Fitbit (like a pedometer but you can also input your calories, sleep, etc). and it shows I log about 7+ miles in a day at Disneyland. - MainStreetMom
