I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the opening ST ceremony tomorrow morning. Any ideas of what it will be
My CM friend won't tell me any details so either she doesn't know or doesn't want to spoil it. I know there are bleachers. I read there will be a parade (not sure on source reliability). There are bleachers, so something big is going down I'm sure. Either way, I'm going. - Warpedlogic

Park opens at 9am, ceremony starts at 930am, ride opens early at 9:10am, ceremony should end around 10-1030am, then ride opens for rest of day. - Warpedlogic

We watched the parade for the opening of Star Wars Weekend and Star Tours Opening Day and on the stage, Lucas and Iger both came out and talked. They had it on big screens so everyone could see, too, since it was so crowded. I don't know if it was because it was also Star Wars Weekend, but I hope it happens for you, too. - ally

General consensus online seems to be that they will allow lining up in the esplanade as of 7, to allow the grads to leave at 6. Where are you guys meeting at 6? And where are you parking? - DaisyBell

Wow, just looked it up. Parking there is expensive! $6/hour $30 max/per day. Hmmm...I'll take my chances with them letting people into M&F early since it's grad night tonight and they need people there anyway for that in the morning. - Warpedlogic
