I love going to Disneyland but because I have really big plugs I get stares, ppl that try to sneak pix, and I always get the eww wispers behind me. Now I understand that this was my choice and in my profession it's totally exceptable. Just wondering am I the only MWer that has such a body mod and have you experienced this and what do you do?
I plan to leave this world the same way I started out - wrinkly and unable to wipe my own butt. Thats it. - HotDiggityDogDaddy

I have a different story on mt stares. No body nods. But i use a mobility scooter and im only 27. People stare and i have even heard people say stuff like i use it because im fat. Which granted im a fluffy girl. That's not the reason. I have multiple health issues. That's why i have it. Regardless of body nods or disabilities no one should stare and say stuff if they dont know the back stories. Granted i might look at someones nods i wouldn't stare. I think some are cool. But would never do it to myself. - ImAlwaysCrazy

Yeah spencer ani always make the most of our days at Disney! Im happy to be there with the mani love! We have fun regarddles of the stares. When people do stare i stare back lol. If they have an issue with it i will tell them what's up. I have no shame. Im disabled and its not my fault. So i will let people know what imperfections i have. Then may've they wont stare at the next person in a wheelchair. My faves are kids staring. They dont understand. Lol i had this baby staring at me this past weekend and i was looking at her and i would play with the scooter make it go forward and backward and she was loving it had the biggest smile and cutest laugh. - ImAlwaysCrazy

I have tattoo's and I hear people talking all the time about how nasty someones tattoo is and of course I'm standing right next to them and they like to tell me my tattoos are amazing. Whatever it dude. People arent going to understand. 3yrs ago I had inch sized plugs, dread locs down to my butt and tons of tattoos. Now I still have the tats and my ears shrunk back to 1/2 and I cut my hair a 2years ago to look more professional once I lost my job. Now I'm a photographer and a mom. I wear shirts that cover up most of my ink but as an artist I can get away with some more thank others. People will always judge what they don't understand - Smart.tea

Ok, I love starring at peoples tattoos! If you don't like it, do t get them! I love tattoos and often try to figure others tattoos out! Usually I will say " nice work" or something. But one time, a guy looked Like he was gonna beat me up for starring! Whatever dude! Go for it! Hahaha!! - Zipitydoodahdad

I used to work at a record store. Trust me plenty of people have stared at the bird. Lol. I'm not naive so I knew putting a big picture up there was going to bring more attention but I love my bird so I don't care - Smart.tea

I love people watching! Also, being a nurse it's a habit to "assess" people. I can't help it, its in my nature lol. But my family always tells me to stop staring!! hahaha But I love to look at the art or the amazement of whatever it is good or bad. Like the lady in my post office....umm she shaves or waxes off her eyebrows and colors in HUGE ones up on her forhead and you can see the red marks from where her originals are. I can't help but stare. No judgements just may not be for me but amazing art whether it is tatoos or piercings. One of my daughters has many tatoos and many piercings. I would just look back at people and smile. Not everyone is going to like the same thing. - SupremeLeader

I don't get it. You know u stand out in a crowd so enjoy the attention. If people try and snap pictures, I say pose for them. Don't be surprised if you hear eww wispers, I'm sure your family has said worse, I am sure you thought eww if someone before. Lol It is human nature to be curious, as long as people aren't hateful. If a man in a 3 piece suit came into your place of business you would probably stare too. Lol if I see u in the parks, I want a picture with you and Mickey!! - Miki

Awww don't worry about those people!!! YOU love it and that's all that matters! Next time they snap a pict just say stand next to me I want one too! I've been guilty of staring, for me it's fascination. I've got 20 questions, none are judgementally intended. I'd never try to sneak a photo though. I've been known to ask for photos of tattoos though!! My kids hate it when I do that. I have 6 ear piercings and a tattoo.
