I have a lil personal story I would love to share but beware, once you accept the possibility of ghosts or spiritual haunts you may realize you too have had a brush with the supernatural. I was 10 years old and staying at my Grandmas house for the night. My G-ma had just went in for a bath and left me watching Wrestle mania in the living room. It was a warm summer evening so she had kept the front door open but had the screen door locked and the front porch light on. While watching TV I heard a light rap at the screen door. I was startled but assumed it was one of my aunts who had lived next door. I got half way up and realized it was my G-mas best friend dressed in her Sunday best. I could not totally see her entirely due to the dirty screen and front porch light. I didn't go totally up to the door since she told me I didn't have to let her in. I told her my G-mas was in the bath and she said she knew but wanted me to tell her she is ok and feeling much better. She went on to tell me my G-ma was a wonderful woman and a great friend to her. She then told me to watch over my G-ma and always show her love. She walked away and vanished past the area that the porch light shined on. G-ma came out and I told her, her friend had stopped by. My G-ma seemed so irritated that she came so late and didn't even call or stay. I got scolded for not coming to the bathroom and getting G-ma out upon her arrival. She attempted to call he best friend but could not reach her. The next morning I woke up to G-ma crying and ready to interrogate me. COme to find out, her best friend had passed away the previous day about mid afternoon. - Jayjay

Does this count?......when I was like 16 I remember waking up in the middle of the night and could not move.....all I could hear was an evil laugh....I tried screaming and moving, but nada....then I remember turning my head to the left and on my covers there was an evil face with a grin....then I started praying in my mind and cursing at "it" and it finally went away.....it actually happened two or three times.....but hasn't happened since that particular time.... - PIRATADELCARIBE

Hahaha @ angryduck, I appreciate your honest opinion babe @PIRATEDELCARIBE, that has happens to me before and now it happens to my youngest a few times. He won't sleep alone in a room anymore Poor baby. @mocha your so positive. Thinking back it was not a good experience for me. Jayjay, you and me are on the same wavelength. When I was 7 I had a dream that my great grandparents had died in a Utah canyon in a rock slide. I woke ip screaming and crying and my mom comforted me and let me call them the next morning to make sure they were fine. A month later, on a trip to Arizona they unfortunately passed away in a car accident caused by a rock slide. Worst day of my life and I couldn't stop it. I still have similar dreams but I do everything I csn to changes the outcome. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. It's very scary!! - akpoppins

Ok so ididntean to bring down your post...I also had an experience in room 2323 of the DL hotel! I woke up to a boy standing over me and screamed and woke my family up. The next day we called for more towels and the person delivered asked if everything was ok and she said good strange things happen in that room! - akpoppins

Oh no akpoppins, that's so sad. In most cases like these I believe people are given this gift not to try and change fate but to better prepared for what's to happen and help those around you to deal with it. You must be a strong and caring person to be given this gift. I can see how it could seem like a burden though - Jayjay

Same as Pirata, two times it happened to me when I lived in IL in my early 20's. I was paralyzed and could not scream, and one of those times there was a large dark figure just watching from the stairwell down to my room. Since i could not speak, in my mind I kept saying In the name of Jesus leave, and finally it ended and I could move again. When I was about 8 my family and I went to vacation in Mexico. Down the street there was a rio ( river) and all the kids would go. So I went one day and saw a lady walking in a white dress and she was floating up a broken bridge. I didn't tell anyone until Years later my dad was telling me a story about a lady in white that my grandpa R.IP. Used to see at the same rio walking the bridge !!!! - mozbaby

i thought it was zombies! haha zombies are siiick! my story is kinda different. my dad recently passed because of cancer last december in the philippines and maybe a day or two after our maid's baby kept pointing at the stairs and saying "ayun oh!" which is translated to something like "over there!" and we'd look and there'd be nothing there and the baby would just shrug and say "wala na" which is "it's gone" but i know my dad would never scare us or do anything to harm us, i kinda wish i was the one who saw him! - nikkiribas

So I use to include some DL ghost stories to keep in our community theme so why stop now. RE: Haunted Mansion -While the building was built on property that had no previous construction on it, it did manage to attract someone who had died nearby. In the 1940s a man who had been piloting a small plane crashed in a lake near where the park was to be built later. His ghost has settled into the Haunted Mansion. Referred to by Cast Members (employees) as "the man with the cane" he is often seen late at night, especially after closing.

Another HM legend. This one reminds me of PrinceCorey lol- The man in a tuxedo" is another spirit, though no one really knows who he is. One day an employee was working in the area where passengers disembark. There is a mirror there, so the attendant can see when the riders come up behind her. She kept seeing a shadow in the mirror, and when she turned around no one was there. The figure seemed to be wearing a tuxedo. Then, she felt a chill and a hand placed on her shoulder. Of course, she turned to find no one there. The woman ran out of the Haunted Mansion and soon quit her job. - Jayjay

One more- Although "haunted Disneyland" sounds like a theme park attraction, there are actually several ghosts residing in the theme park. Oddly enough, one such ghost lives in the Haunted Mansion itself. Visitors to the theme park report seeing the apparitions of an elderly man and woman. These apparitions ascend the grand staircase, or vanish among the displays. They appear to be residual haunts and harmless. However, in the attic and the dark corners of the building, a nastier spirit occasionally troubles guests and workers. In these areas, people report having their hair pulled, being shoved or pinched, or feeling watched. Guests reporting these incidents to the management are often amazed to learn that the 'really great ghosts' are in fact actual apparitions! - Jayjay
