Android 2.0.9 is LIVE in the Market - this version should let you move the app to your SD card if you have Android 2.2 or later. Please let me know on this post if that works. Also we fixed the "Blocked Device" error that people were getting while entering wait times. The app was telling people they are blocked when they were not (it is actually just having a problem finding a connection). This bug is being fixed in the iPhone version too.
I upgraded, but it will not allow me to move it to the SD card. I am on an EVO 4g. - ZombieJerky

This is weird, it put it right on the SD card. So it did work. not sure how it got there without me moving it though. - ZombieJerky

@admin: I updated. It put it directly onto my SD card. I'm on a G2 with a custom firmware that has 2.3 at its core. To answer your other question, it's fine with me. I remember reading one of the android programming articles when this feature came out in 2.2 and in it there was something about this command where if you put to install to SD automatically, there was no option to move it to the phone. But there was also another option where the user could choose the location, but don't know if it was at install or if it was in the applications menu once installed. I'm not a programmer, just read into android a bit. - Warpedlogic

It would be nice to have that option, but I don't mind it putting right on the SD card. One thing to keep in mind, if you ever do add widgets, they won't start properly if the app is forced to be on the card. - ZombieJerky

The link provided goes to android dev docs for this switch. Also, I don't think it'll matter much to the non-power users. I can move it to internal storage now so it can always be moved by the user. But as ZombieJerky said, if you ever add widgets to this app, then it needs to be on internal storage. - Warpedlogic

@ZombieJerky, I think they might do that by default. I've had other apps upgrade to the sd card. Some don't. Not sure why.

@Jedivegan: That's plenty, the app is less than 2 mb. I'd say reboot your MT4G and try again. If that doesn't work, then uninstall/reinstall should work. - Warpedlogic

worked fine on my Moto Atrix. Installed to the SD card by default, moved it to the phone and back with no errors. - kemal007

I just pushed 2.0.9.1 to the Market with the new fix for the SD card option, bug fixes, we are also using a higher SDK so you should notice speed improvements - Admin
