Has anyone done the HALLOWEEN TRiCK-or-TREAT PARTY at Disneyland?! I am hoping to do it this year, is it worth it? How long does it last? ANY info will help!!

My sister did it a couple of years ago. They fill the kids bags up as they walk out if they haven't already. They had a really good time! She said it was totally worth it! - Tweedle_Deedee

My sisters and I have made it a tradition for the past few years. To be honest it was better when it was @DCA. Perhaps because it was the first yr @ Disneyland, it was so unorganized. The walkways were packed, there were people in the park that didn't pay for their trick or treat admission. They his stayed from their day admission. They weren't properly "weeded" out as they were supposed to. The fireworks show was more or less the same as regular Halloween fireworks. Idk, to me it was just better at DCA. I don't believe it's worth the seperate admission any more. Perhaps I'm wrong. Even the quality of the candy has gone down. - Cwoob

We've done it every year since they started it! It's a lot of fun and I would do it at least once. Although I liked it better when it was at DCA. I'd love it if they would do it there again after the construction is done. - Sweet_Irish_Cream

It was honestly the best Halloween party ever and worth it :) I'm in my 20s and went with friends there is a lot of candy !! Seems like they never ran out we even had to condense down our stash because it was too heavy in our suitcases haha . The atmosphere is so much fun and the decorations are amazing. Not to mention the fireworks were spectacular !!! Worth every penny :) - CMMinnieCouture

It is definitely worth it, I've done it the last two years and loved it. They give out tons of candy and you get to take pics and autographs with a lot of characters. - TigerLilyinDisneyland

Last year was bad. I like it at Disneyland cuz they are more rides but the night I went it rained like cats and dogs!! And I got sick for like a month after but on the brighter side the candy was great! - Briana

Last year the party was on Tues. and Fri. nights and Halloween night during the entire month of Oct. The park closed early those nights to the general public, I think around 3 or 4 pm. - MimiMouse

My family and I look forward to it every year. We go prolly 3 times. It's worth the money. U get a rediclous amount of candy and the park is basically empty, so all the lines are like 10 mins at the most. - PumpkinKing83

Bring your own bag. The ones the give you are filled to easily. My family of 5 got 42 pounds of candy, and we only went to each station once. Either way, they do a cool fireworks show, plus all the wait times are down. Its amazing. Plus, its the only time to get a few autographs. Last time, hades was out, we never saw him, but would have loved to, along with the potc crew. Plus, you get to wear a costume. Who doesn't like dressing up? - noaddrag

We went last year and my grandkids had a blast! You get so much candy and it's the good stuff too, no cheapie kind, plus they also give out healthy snacks. There were no line for the rides and you could get all kinds of autographs and pictures with characters you rarely see during the normal hours. If you enter when it first opens for the party you have about 8 hours in the park. Once the general public leaves you have the park to yourselves, no crowds. - Diznimom

ITS SO WORTH IT!! It's only on Tuesday's and Friday's and the costumes ppl come up with are amazing !! The only long lines you'll encounter are ones for the many candy stands :) ppl w/o the halloween party wristbands will eventually be herded to the center of the park and only wristband ppl will have access to the Lands of the parks. There was MW'er who wrote a post on this last year. Anyone remember who it was?? I think SandraD... - Zombettie1313

Yay!! We will be there this year, too. So excited for all the positive feedback. I'm guessing the Friday night will be busier than the Tuesday night, though. - PixieMom

Very fun. Great candy, costumes, and fireworks. We saw many people being asked to leave because they didn't have wrist bands. I also preferred it at DCA-didn't seem so crowded. I thought there were too many people acting stupid at Dland, but we went on Halloween night last year. DCA seemed more small kid oriented. We're going again this year, but much earlier in the month. - cinderelli
