We on coming to DL for first time on Friday! My husband has been looking at the weather and wants to bring all jeans and sweatshirts! We are from Ohio, not the tropics. Should he plan to wear shorts, tees , or are jeans and hoodies best?
jeans and hoodies are good for nighttime, but i usually plan on it being hot during the day. i don't know if you want to get a locker and put your nighttime clothes in there to change later, or something along those lines. - nicoleface

Hm says about 70 this weekend so it'll be nice I'd say if you wear shorts bring pants and a hood for night time if gets cold :) have fun and don't forget to get a first visit pin at admission or city hall!!! - EvyJoBonCM

I always wear shorts during the day. And go back to the hotel to change into pants and a sweatshirt at night. - BrookeA6100

I was just there today and it started off a little chilly but got pretty warm. But then at night it always gets chilly again, wear stuff you can layer - diznymommy84

We are from utah, so always cold there too. It was in the 70's and we broke out the shorts all week. I'd bring at least one pair. All the other days we were in jeans and tees, but it feels colder at night here due to the humidity. - Seacow

Google "Anaheim Hourly Weather". That will give you an idea about what it is like throughout the day. Looks like it's been warming up by about 10am, and then cools down when the sun goes down, 8:30 or after. I usually bring pants then am sorry I didn't bring shorts. This time I am bring all shorts and tanks, with one pair of pants and a jacket to wear if the morning is chilly. Then I just take them off and put them in a locker until evening. - PrincessKristin

I usually take a pack with a lite windbreaker suit and a pancho ( for WOC or a water rides) while wearing shorts and a tee. Anaheim isn't too cold at nights (IMO) unless you're wet! - BobbyCorona

How exciting! We wear jeans and t-shirt during the day and throw on a sweater @ night. It gets pretty cool. Use fastpasses. - PirateJedsMommy

It's warm during the day shorts & tshirts but at night gets chilly a sweater & jeans is good. Of course there is always Disney aparrel to buy : ) - LoveDisney2

Being from Ohio you'll probable be fine with shorts and tees but you may want a hoodie at night. - NikkiMickey

Shorts during the day, jeans and sweatshirt at night. Please note, it seems a little chilly in the morning especially waiting in the line when it first opens but warms up quickly, sunshine and cement walkways. It is fun to wait in line in the beginning - all that fun just ahead plus you gain 3 hours. Enjoy! - 2ndStar2theRight

One more thing, I have learned that in California (was born and raised in Central Penna) always travel with a swimsuit and a sweatshirt! And of couse a towel, #1 Hitchhikers Guide rule! - 2ndStar2theRight

^I agree with you LindaC and I always bring an umbrella (not that we need in CA) but my Mom always told me "pack a swimsuit and an umbrella". - NikkiMickey

She is correct! The umbrella is in the car. I have used it when in Tahoe for an unexpected snow shower :-) - 2ndStar2theRight
