Hey guys... I just had a really bad experience with a manager cast member who rudely denied us me and my friends to see his pins. :( I felt really bad and mad because no one has ever denied me or especially shouted saying NO!!! What should I do? :(
Go and tell City Hall, make sure you tell them his name. That's really too bad - KAA

They have to let you see their pins because they don't own them they just wear them. You should write a complait at city hall. Sorry that you had a bad experience - SarahInWonderland

Don't ask him again and find someone else that's what I would do or ask another cast member who to talk to about him - cowboygoofy

Guys, don't be so quick to jump to the complaining solution. We don't know the full circumstances here. I'm not taking guest's side and I'm not taking the manager's side either. - BCC

I totally agree that this cast member could politely say no, but to totally bark a rude no is not acceptable. Especially if he is manager, his guest services skills should be a step higher than any of the front line employees. I would not stand for any rude employee. Especially if u did nothing wrong except for ask a simple question. With today's admission prices all of these employees need to respect the guests. - anthony91765

Unless we know what really happened, then we should hold all "go to city hall" comments. - BCC

99% of CMs are totally awesome, don't really know the circumstances he was dealing with, if a CM acts bad more than once or is known to be unkind then report, I really sorry u had a bad experience, smile - JimW

Good grief. Too bad you were disappointed but the guy is a human being, not a toy for your amusement. MAybe he was in the middle of dealing with something, maybe his dog died, whatever. Think about the enjoyment you had today and all of the CMs you never saw who made it possible. Be pissed and ruin your evening or drop it and have a good time. - mike714

Let's all keep in mind that behind the uniform is a human, who has emotions and feelings just as we all do, he didn't have to yell at you, he could of handled it differently but as BCC said you don't know the situation he was in. I mean we all get upset when we get cut off on the fwys right? but for the most part are common sense tells us to let it go. This was, i'm sure a rare but unfortunate incident, my sister's a CM in food service and the stories she tells of guests who are just down right rude for no reason, now im not saying this was the case, you were not rude, it was just the wrong place at the wrong time...."one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch" - vix@dizneeagain

mike714 - I think that's a little harsh. Even if someone is having a bad day, customer service comes first when you are at work. I'm not going to offer advice since others have already done that, but please try not to be rude about it. - DaisyBell

I have to say that everyone is right when they say he is a human and could have been having some kind of problem or whatever but he is a manager, at freakin Disneyland. I'm sorry but there is a right and wrong way to go about things. I don't allow my own children to yell at me, no way in heck I would allow anyone else to for any reason. I would complain for sure! - deedub

Well since there are always 2 sides to every story, why not aak the CM for his side before you condem him. Sorry if I sounded rude however I don't believe that every guest or CM is always 100% right or wrong. - mike714

Thanks everyone for the great advice! I just felt a little frustrated with the situation. The post was my way of venting. Thanks MW fam!!! I respect and accept all of my MW fam member's opinions!!! - TheGirlWhoHasEverything

Sorry to hear about your horrible CM experience. I hope that does not change your opinions of all others, but it is best to go to City Hall as the others have mentioned. - StephiePooh

I thought part of the whole pin trading thing is asking CMs to trade. Are CMs allowed to not wear pins if they don't feel like trading? Maybe this guy is just sick of his flair and he doesn't like talking about flair. Very sorry your magic was spoiled even for a little bit. - JennDear
