Our newest Android update 2.0.8 has backgrounding built in which means if you upload a picture, you can close the app or go back to wait times and your picture will upload in the background. Let me know if this works for you. We still have an issue with broken connections while uploading a picture, we are working on that. Also you shouldn't get that "banned" message anymore when it can't find a connection - it was previously saying your device was banned for bad wait times, when it should have been showing a no connection error.
