I see lots of great photos on MW, so I was wondering if any of you could suggest some awesome cameras for me to check out. A camera no more than $350. I'd love to own one of the bigger cameras to get better shots at the parks, but I need a regular sized camera, so that I can still sneak it into concerts. haha! I've got many concerts to go to this summer and many trips to the parks, so I'll be shopping for a new camera at Best Buy in a few hours.
I strongly suggest Canon Powershot series. I've had the SD1100 and the SD1400 and they are absolutely great. Easy to use and great quality photos. They range roughly from $250-$350. - Marieeezy

Rancho, I think that's the camera I was trying to look at! It was between a Canon and a Sony, but the Canon wasn't working to test it out. They were both almost $350.00. - GlitterFabulous

I've got a mid range kodak 10MP camera, and it works great. I would shop for something that has good motion capture for the concerts, and on the rides in the parks - drb195

I highly recommend the Canon powershot series too. I've had a few and several friends and family members have had them too. IMO you can't go wrong with one of those. - Mimmy

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-TX5. it is very compact and sleek, and it is shockproof, waterproof, drop proof and goes underwater up to 10 feet. It has a slide down cover that protects the lens, and it is completely touchscreen with a screen that is 3.0 inches, I bought it online overseas last year, it hasnt been released in the US, but it is a high tech camera that functions very well - ERICKA
