Has anyone ever gotten sick after visiting the parks?

I get sick of leaving ;). Sometimes we get over heated and head back to the hotel's pool or splash mtn or GRR - fletch

Ended up in hospital day after being at DL........ate to much junk food and ended up with intestinal obstruction. But I sure had fun, up to that point!!!! - bagglady

I don't mean to sound like a germaphob with OCD, but thousands of people visit DL on a daily basis, multiply that by 2 hands a person who touch everything you eventually end up touching, thus passing along germ or two to you. carry sanitizer and use it throughout the day, and avoid touching so much. - minniemel06

The only 2 forms of sickness I have got after visiting the park. 1 was a major headache with big dizziness (probably because of the sun and how I was there from opening to closing) and 2 was stomach pain (guessing from one of the food items I had ) - CM_SmS1291

Some university did study on handshaking at graduation and cultured some of the teacher and the finding are surprising they had less bacteria thenthey every thought . So maybe you do not get as much as we think. - Rn4uminnie

If you think about the crowds of people from everywhere, the close proximity of people on rides and the amounts of hands on rails (many likely not washed after bathroom trips) then it is inevitable that some illnesses will travel around. I am surprised that more mass illnesses don't occur in Disneyland. - ToshiStation
