Regal is gradually converting to 3D. We have 12 screens and 5 are digital. The rest will be digital by November. I shall miss 35mm. Each unit cost about 80k. - SamFlynn

@SamFlynn: cool, I'm a supervisor at a theater and the projectionists just taught me how to thread the projectors lol. We recently just converted to 3D to, so 4 out of 18 screens are digital. - CaliGirlNiki

Saw it this afternoon... it was great. The 3D wasn't over used and the movie kept the action appropriate without being over the top. My only criticism is that the movie was a little darker than the others. I don't mean metaphorically... I mean color. Other than that it was awesome! - DanCH
